Suddenly, it felt like all atoms of softness had gone and were replaced with great fear. I was there for a really long time and was starting to doze off when I heard footsteps. This time, it was going up and I smiled. Finally, I might go get myself a drink of water and be done with this night. I promised myself that no matter how hard, I would force myself to sleep, lest I get in trouble after that. So, I waited, counting from one to fifty before getting off the bed with the plate and opening my door slowly.

Pippa's POV I must have dozed off at some point because the next thing I know, I’m in a dark room, lying on an uncomfortable bed that smells badly of dust. I am tucked into a sleeping bag, and my boots are gone. Groaning softly, I unzip the bag, and unwilling to put my feet bare feet on the filthy floor, I sit on my knees and lean over the edge of the bed, searching for my boots.

I went to sleep after. NEXT MORNING. I woke up due to the annoying voices chattering in the room. I slowly pulled down the duvet covering my face and sat up sleepily. Gosh,I slept too much. My head is so foggy and I still feel drowsy. I slowly opened my eyes just to meet two naked bodies dancing to the pop music from the speaker. Who are they? There were dollar notes littered on the floor,They stepped on it as they twerk,hyping each other.

The pint is washed off, and the painting of the wall are fucking terrible. I move slowly to my feet, and I realise I am barefoot. No boots are socks, and I could swear I had them on before leaving the house today. I look at the bed, and there she is, with her golden hair spread on the pillow while she sleeps on her side. I know where I am now.

I start to run some water in hopes to be able to wash away the raccoon mess. As I finish up getting the last bit of blackness, I head back out into the hallway. Do I continue to head back out with yesterday’s funeral clothes on or do I get changed? I made the decision to go into the bedroom and get changed. I have to take my boot off so that I can put a pair of pants on. My foot is able to breathe! I’m surprised that I was able to sleep with it on without issue.

Sloane I woke up to an empty bed. No warmth. No noise. Just silence. For a second, I thought maybe it was all a dream…that he hadn’t actually stayed. That I hadn’t cried into his chest like some broken little girl. But the soft scent of cedar and leather still lingered on my room. He had stayed. I sat up, brushing my tangled hair out of my face. Today had to be different. No more crying. No more hiding.

The kind where you both know there's more underneath the words but neither of you is brave enough to dive headfirst into it. I cleared my throat. "I couldn't sleep." "I noticed." He sipped his drink, eyes watching me over the rim. I made a face. "Stalker." "Light sleeper," he countered, lips quirking. "I heard you shuffling down the hallway like a ghost in those ridiculous socks." I glanced down at my feet. Okay, fine - they were ridiculous. Pink with little dancing tacos. Eddie picked them out for me last Christmas. "They're adorable, thank you very much."

I requested her to which she nodded. After a little more assurance I was ready to get back into my room and sleep like a baby. With the thought of sleep in my mind, I placed my feet on the floor and tried to stand. My legs felt like jelly and I had to take support of the nightstand to prevent myself from falling.

Tonight was our first official sleepover in the treehouse, and we'd dragged up sleeping bags, flashlights, and enough snacks to last a week. "Tell me a scary story," Avy said, settling into her sleeping bag. "I don't know any scary stories." "Make one up." "Okay, um..." I pointed my flashlight at my face for dramatic effect. "Once upon a time, there was a girl who read so many books that her eyes fell out." "That's not scary, that's stupid." "Fine. There was a boy who was so bad at football that the football grew teeth and ate him." Avy giggled. "You're terrible at this."

I said while pulling my leg from his lap. We both are in our bedroom. When we came back home from office, I was dead tired. Siddharth helps me in shower and we both had our dinner with everyone. After that Siddharth took me to our bedroom for me to take rest. My feet are sore and swollen so Siddharth started giving oil massage to my feet and I protested because I don't like when he touched my feet. "..and how many time I told you, I don't give a shit to these things. Look at your feet, they are red and swollen. You are not living the bed till delivery." He said sternly while gripping my feet tightly to stop me pulling my legs from his lap.
