Miss Penny gestured to Skye and asked her to introduce herself. "My name is Skye, Skye Milano. I am a 17 year old Taurus and witch. I love dancing and baking." At the end of her introduction, Skye was ushered to a seat behind Olive and Jessie. Olive, on the other hand, was ordered to show the new girl around the school. The minute Skye sat down, Jessie felt a cold chill run down her spine. She felt like she was a rabbit being watched by a predator that could gobble her up at any moment.

I glanced down at it and started running towards Skylar. Connor: He'll be wearing a black hoodie. Looks like that's the stalker guy. I whispered before dragging her along.

Skye immediately wrapped her arms around my waist, indicating that im taken and she should back off. She chuckles then spoke again. "I'm just messing with you mf." Shaking her head. "This is Adeline Adia Davis, my girlfriend." Skye introduced me, "And my sweet this is Lilith Rivka Efrat Natfali, my friend." "It's nice to meet you, Adeline." Lilith presented me her hand, I was about to shake her hand when Skye slaps Lilith's hands away. "Skye!" Then I pinch her cheeks slightly. Then Skye pouts.

"Oh? It seems that Ms. Alderidge doesn't care about the lives of those around you," Frederick said dangerously. “You can try,” Regina responded with a murderous intent flickering across her face. The old man behind her stepped forward, positioning himself between her and Frederick. “So, this is what you're relying on?” Frederick glanced at the old man, still calm and composed. “I am Skylar, Sky Guardian of Skuira's Four Great Pillars. Who are you to threaten Ms. Alderidge?” Skylar sneered.

I said taking a gulp of my coffee. “It’s the blood of aliens.” She whispered loudly, holding a square of pancake up and letting the maple drip onto her plate. “Eeee!” Kataleya shuddered, giggling a little. “I think it's more like melted gold.” Kiara added. Skyla shook her head. “No no, it’s blood.” She said in a hushed sinister voice. This kid was fucking psychotic but guess so was I. Kiara smiled and our eyes met, her heart skipped a beat before she looked away.

The vines witherered, and blood from thorn pricks, black draugr filth, erupted from my veins as I boiled over. Seized with chills, I looked at the center of the gardens: there stood Skadhi, the great ice Jotun who watched over me. She delicately plucked the last remaining red rose and crushed it, bringing the petals to her nose as her apparition inhaled. Her hard blue lips softened as she gazed upon me woefully, then she floated over on buckskin boots, three feet above the ground, a mix of ghost and great strides. Her head reached the clouds, and her breasts had a fox pelt over them with rabbit skins hanging from her belt.

Although my stomach flipped, I feigned ignorance and chuckled. “What is it now? I am dying! I am cursed! What’s next?” I let out a forced laugh to add more positivity. “You must have seen some absurdity in my blood. What am I now? A Godzilla? After being a prophecy girl for the north? Come on, it can’t be that bad.” My stupid commentary couldn’t change Skylar’s facial expressions. She placed the iPad on the side table and folded her hands tightly together. Her voice was barely above a whisper when she spoke.

From behind Miasma, as if given form by the mist, came Flame, Bonbon, Loulou and Sidian. Ilyria shook her head. No, whatever these were, they were not her friends. Sidian had Bonbon’s cinnabar skin. Loulou looked wrong with Flame’s bright red hair. Then from the mist came waddling a figure the shape of a toad. The woman had ebony-black hair piled atop her head and wore make up so thick that it was sliding off the side of her face in one piece. “It is I, Kitten,” said the woman, “your Madame Skia.”

Every instinct screams at me to turn back to the safety of the bridge. The canopies of the remaining pods suddenly open, exposing my companions still in hibernation, utterly unaware of the impending danger. The monitors have either malfunctioned, or this is a safety device. I force myself not to panic as my breathing becomes labored from the lack of oxygen. I have almost reached Beth.
