Liam stood in the entrance of the primary tunnel, his gloved hands resting on the high metal railing. He was in his full official practice kit—the sleek, midnight-blue compression suit that bore the understated silver crest of his training program. The fabric clung to his lean frame like a second skin, offering a taut, engineered support to his upper torso. Underneath the synthetic layers, his left shoulder felt quiet, steady, and remarkably cool. The phantom aches of the past three weeks had been completely silenced by the strict regime of rest and deep-tissue releases.

Sabine drops her robe, handing it to Nixon. “ What the fuck is she wearing? There is nothing to it.” I grumble. Sabine is wearing a green body suit. Or at least part of one. Most of it is see- thru with crystals on it and several multi colored scarf type things that make up a skirt. “ Relax. She is completely covered even though it doesn’t look like it. The bolt blue Keeper suit with elbow-length sleeves and hip-length cut, which I used to wear when I was a Keeper 9 years ago. The red-purple gradient Weaver suit with cropped layers, geometric cuts, and patterns made my complexion dark. The Herald's yellow-green long ankle-length fit with random ribbons on its sleeve—which I was accustomed to for the whole nine years—didn't make any impact on me. And wearing black and white leathery, single-sleeved, armor-like suits makes me look young and edgy.
