The sky screamed. Not thunder. Not wind. The sky itself. Cracks spread across the darkness above us like shattered glass. Each fracture revealed something beyond. Something endless. Something alive. And whatever was waking on the other side— it was enormous. Every person on the rooftop stood frozen. Every soldier. Every survivor. Every wolf across the territory. Nobody moved. Nobody breathed. The creator's voice echoed softly through the broken heavens. "Judgment has begun." The words hit like a death sentence.

Finally, she found it. She needed this man and she needed him now. A knock jolted them back to reality. “Lady Sequoia” A maid called out. Sequoia was trying her possible best to make her voice hear but to no avail as Sky's fingers were assaulting her deliciously. “Sky you asshole, turn off your telepathy you freak!” Atlas screamed from outside the door, as Sequoia as Sky looked at each other in shock. “Understood, now fuck off." Sky yelled back at him.

She would not let the sting show. Sky tilted her head, her voice syrupy and cutting at once. “Young lady,” she called, once Jace and Kyrell had stepped away to join a cluster of other businessmen. For a moment, Eden kept her gaze fixed on the ground, unsure whether she was truly the one being addressed. But when she glanced up, Sky’s sharpened gaze was locked directly on her. “Are you speaking to me?” Eden asked cautiously. “Of course, dummy. Who else would I be talking to?” Sky’s voice carried across the nearby tables, loud enough to spark whispers and barely hidden smirks from a handful of women nearby.

Sky ordered the waiter to inform Iris and Emily to come to his room . The waiter went and within two minutes they were in Sky's room . " Why did you call us ? " said Emily who had wore a facial beauty mask . Iris had her headphones on . " Have you forgotten how old you are , idiot ?! It's a shame to see that beauty mask on your skin ! Plus we're vampires and don't need that stuff ! " said Sky with an indifferent look . " What the ... you better not comment my skin and you're the idiot ! Should I remind you that you're two hundred years older then I am ! " said Emily angry.

I took off for the wild yonder, gazing up at the Milky Way sprawled across the night sky. It was my son's dream. He was a stargazer, an astronomy buff since he was knee-high. On his birthday, he saw his first meteor shower in the wild. Tragically, that same night became his last. I was determined to make his dream come true. The divorce papers, signed by Elias, landed in my mailbox. Maybe it was guilt, but he rewrote the terms, leaving me with a lion's share of our assets. I took it all without batting an eye.

"I love you too, son! Take good care of your mom, okay? I'll see you later!" The bad weather does not affect the good mood of the lawyer since he heard the good news of him being a father again. His only wish is that Cassandra will deliver the baby healthy, whether it's a boy or a girl. He could not even wait to inform his father regarding this good news but he intends to do so on his birthday which is a week away. Observing the dark skies outside the window on the 40th floor of the building where he works, he could still see that beyond those clouds hide the beaming rays of sunlight that only wait for the rain to stop.

For the first time in months, a genuine smile formed on my face. My firm, steady voice carried over the airwaves into the distance. "The runway is open. Permission granted for takeoff. Wishing you a smooth flight." All those years of shame, suffering, and resentment had passed like a storm that had finally cleared. Above me stretched a vast, open blue sky. This time, I was no longer a caged bird gazing upward. I had become the sky itself.

Sky shouted trying to show off his seniority. “Wait, you can hear me?” Tarrell stammered. “Loud and clear.” Sky said. “Oh thank heavens, I was beginning to lose hope and doubt its authenticity.” He shouted. “You don’t have to shout, I can hear.” Sky pleaded. “Oh sorry.” He sarcastically said. “It's fine…I can see you’ve connected with your wolf.” Sky said. “Yes, I have and uhhh! The voice is crappy, the moon goddess should’ve given me a better wolf.” Tarrell said.

Sky was having so much fun. One second, she was breathless with adrenaline, vest warm against her ribs, hair slipping loose because the stupid tie had been pulling all night. Next, she was getting grabbed by some brute who sprayed way too much cologne on himself. “Hey,” a voice said close to her ear. Calm. Official. “You’re out. You slipped back there. Come with me.” Sky straightened immediately. “What?” she said, already pulling her arm back. “No, I didn’t.”

She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself, but then she heard it. "Sky... Skylar Dawin..." A voice whispered from deep within her mind. It wasn't familiar-yet it wasn't foreign either. It wasn't loud, but it echoed inside her like an ancient song written into her soul. Behind the voice pulsed something vast-strength. Timeless wisdom. Sky's eyes snapped open, her heart racing. She looked around-but no one was speaking to her. The students were still training; the instructors were watching-but none of them were looking her way.
