My suspicion was confirmed when he suddenly chuckled, his hand reaching up to touch his cheek. “Wow, that was actually the most painful slap I’ve received so far. You really put some strength into it. Here I thought you were a weak girl who couldn’t even open the lid of a bottle. Tsk, I should’ve known it was all an act.”

She had more important things to deal with than some lowlife who didn’t know his place.
