The kinetic feedback traveled straight back down the steel, shattering the crossguard and sending a sharp crack through Dominic's forearm bone.
Dominic didn't even flinch. He adjusted instantly, driving his shoulder straight into the titan's midsection, using his entire weight to push the beast away from me.
"Little pup," the titan growled, catching Dominic by the back of his tactical vest with one hand and casually slamming him down into the iron table. The heavy desk split in half with a deafening crash, scattering ancient maps and the glowing glass sphere containing the Eastern Core across the floor.
