Sliding Closet Door Handle Novels & Stories

I didn't use that. I brought my own cabinet, and since the day I moved here I haven't opened it or even touched it. I slowly brought my hand closer to the closet handle. When I was about to touch the handle of the closet, I felt indecisive. I thought what can I open here?

This was the transition zone. I walked toward the teak wood paneling beside the walk-in closet. To any guest, it looked like a decorative architectural feature. There was no handle, no visible seam. I stood perfectly still in front of it. I fixed my gaze on a tiny, nearly invisible knot in the wood grain. Beep. A thin red line of light swept across my retina in a fraction of a second. Whirrr. The hydraulic system engaged, and the panel slid back with a whisper of compressed air.
