Sliding Closet Door Handle Novels & Stories

It looks like some kind of handle. I fitted my hand into it and pulled at it. The door swung open, unhooked from a magnetic latch at the top. Inside of it was a small cubby space stretching the length of the mirror. There were various items inside that were hard to see. They looked like they were sitting on a hook or… shelf? I felt around for the light switch, finding it tucked into the wall's panel and flicking it up. Light illuminated the space from above, casting a bright arch of light.

This wasn't the sound of someone knocking, it was the sound of someone sticking a key in my door. I instantly hopped out of bed and grabbed the nightstand, pushing it against the dresser, which was pushed against the door. He's not going to be able to open that, with the dresser and that nightstand against it... Can he? Just as I began to wonder, I heard the click and watched the handle turn. As the handle turned, the door hit the dresser and I heard Colton let out a sigh. The next moment everything started to move. I quickly went behind my bed and pushed it forward, pushing it up against the nightstand and the dresser and pushing the door closed again.

Then I slid it into the door’s keyhole. I twisted it to the left, knowing that locking typically happened with a twist to the right. This was a smart door, yes. But it still had a manual option. I expected it to make a chime when unlocked. But there was no sound. Still, I wasn’t worried. Maybe this one wasn’t built to make noise. I placed my hand on the door handle gently. I knew it wasn’t the kind of door you pulled with force. These types of doors responded to a soft touch.

Christopher told us not to bother as his patience was thin and this place is supposedly stocked with clothes already. It was a light yellow color with stone walls and wooden shutters. Logically, such a scenario was impossible. Carefully, I crept towards the two doors on the opposite wall, curiosity getting the better of me. I silently slid open the longer door and found myself in a walk-in closet that could easily rival a high-end boutique. My eyes widened at the sight of the array of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories—all from renowned designers. Just one of these outfits could solve my wardrobe problem.

He turns us to the right. There the space is empty for the most part. A robe hangs on a hook by the door. At the end of the empty racks, another space for shoes takes up a portion of the wall. Three pairs of fuzzy slippers in yellow, green, and Giants orange are illuminated by the overhead lighting. We walk farther into the closet where a large white square dresser takes up the middle of the space. He pulls open the top drawer a small amount. There's a flash of pink before he closes it again.

Without hesitation, she reached for what I assumed was just a stretch of wall, plain and beige toned with no visible handle, and slid it sideways. I blinked. “Wait, that’s a door?” "Yep," Felicia grinned over her shoulder. “I thought the same thing the first time I saw someone open this. The sky was basked in a luminous blue and pink colour which spread across the horizon. He snarls before slamming and locking the door behind him. My heart raced as I heard the sudden, loud slam, causing me to jump in surprise. Slowly and cautiously, I made my way towards the closet, my eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger. With each step, I carefully navigated my way, ensuring my safety. As I reached the closet, I extended my arm, my fingers barely managing to grasp the handle that lay just within my reach on the floor. Despite my trembling fingers, I persistently attempted to open the door, encountering a few slips along the way.
