I looked at him, my heart pounding in my chest.
"May I have this dance?" He asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
My smile widened, a tiny spark dancing in my eyes. "I thought you'd never ask."
We stepped onto the dance floor, the music a slow, seductive pulse. He took my hand in his, my skin soft and warm against his calloused palm. As we swayed to the rhythm, the world around us faded away. It was just him and me, lost in the melody, the heat of our bodies radiating in the cool night air.
