Captured by the Demon King

Captured by the Demon King

My stomach was begging me to eat something but I wasn't going to eat before I knew what it was. Shea, Tia and Briva looked at us with wide eyes and Shea looked ready to murder someone. "It's potato. From the Envy realm." Ren explained and that made me brighten my mood. Potatoes. Comfort food. It's not fries, but it would do for now. Without a second thought, I put the potato in my mouth and chewed slowly. Yup. Potato. And a yummy one as well. I nodded with appreciation and ate three more spoons while small chit chat was going on around me. I decided to leave the other food on their respective plates and decided tomorrow would be another day for adventurous eating.

The Mysterious Wife of Montenegro Brothers

“Potato…. Chips. What is that?” “ It is a type of snack where in you will slice the potatoes as thin as possible then add some spices and deep fry it.” They can also make some French fries while they’re at it! It is her favorite snack and just imagining that she can taste it again makes her crave more for it. “You can actually fry a potato?”

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

“For roasting.” “Oh! I know!” Noah immediately turned toward the potato section, a little too fast, making the wheels squeak softly. “The big ones, like Mommy said!” I hurried after him, laughing quietly. “Slow down, sweetheart. The potatoes aren’t going anywhere.” We stopped in front of a pile of brown potatoes. Noah squatted down, examined them one by one with a serious expression, then picked one up and pressed it against his cheek. “It’s not cold, so it’s not from the fridge,” he said confidently.

Thank you for the book. I was confused by the number of days left but it’s okay. I truly hope that she doesn’t give him a second chance. He doesn’t even care in the least. She deserves to find someone who treats her like a queen. I’m not against second chances but some people don’t deserve them

Friendship Love Hatred

Friendship Love Hatred

Sid asked standing there like a statue. "Maybe also paratha?" Mihir suggested as all glittered in happiness. "How?" Another question from Sid made some sense. They can't take help from G****e as wifi connection is not available in that village. Even mobile network is too poor for a message also. "We don't know the steps. But we have tasted it right?" Sid suggested as all start thinking of its steps. "The main ingredient is Potato" Mihir exclaimed as if he found something unbelievable. "And girls would always chop onions for anything" Sanky took those onions.

The Apocalypse Survival Manual

The Apocalypse Survival Manual(Three Days Before Doomsday, I Stockpiled Billions)

Of course, they were training. If he wasn't afraid of getting fumigated by pickled herrings, what exactly did she have to feel embarrassed about? - Thanks to careful tending, the cold-resistant potatoes finally reached harvest season. The plants themselves weren't especially large or leafy, but the yields were incredible. Every planting trough overflowed with egg-sized potatoes. Nicole pulled up a stalk and counted over 20 potatoes attached to it. After weighing them on the hanging scale, the total came out to just over 3 pounds. The other plants performed well, too, most yielding anywhere from two to over four pounds each.

I am thrilled with the amount of detail both technical and knowledge of survival skills that this book has and I am loving the humor of making mink coats for dogs and bunnies. I highly recommend this book.

I have been enjoying this book. Just waiting for the ending of it lol. It takes a lot for a book to catch my attention but this one did right off the bat and that's a feat lol. Good writing and good keeping it on point

Punished by His Love

Punished by His Love

She bought herself a portion from the canteen, and sat in the garden that had just been built as she ate her food. The portion was large, and it tasted quite good. It had only been 10 bucks for everything. And it even included a sweet potato. It was sweet, soft, and it had creamy white flesh—the kind of sweet potato that she liked the most. There were a lot of sweet potatoes left in the canteen, so the lady at the counter had given her an extra portion. Sitting among the flowers and eating sweet potatoes, Sabrina felt content. There was fiber in the sweet potatoes that she carefully pulled out. The fiber strips had sweet potato residue left on them. She was not willing to throw the sweet pot

The Billionaire's Kept Woman

"Your house is high-tech." "Yup. Security is a must to protect my baby." He grinned as he fixed his apron and reached the potatoes soaked in the water. He put it on the sink to wash it again. Then, he put it on the fries chopper. He then places the potatoes over the tray with paper wax. He poured olive oil, salt, and pepper. He added sliced pepper bells and cherry tomatoes and put them in the oven. "You are something." She said with a giggle. "Let's put lots of cheese~~"

Mechanic or Luna

“Okay, is everyone ready?” Jo stood in front of everyone. “First one is sweet potatoes.” Most of the women nodded, and the guys looked confused. “That’s gross.” Coy groaned. “Who even eats those things?” “Babies.” Jo smirked. “Next one is green beans.” When no one said anything, she continued. “Pears.” “Why is it like yellow?” Landon looked back at number 3’s diaper. “Forth one is peas.” Jo was smiling at him. “Fifth is sweet corn.”

The Billionaire's Hired Girlfriend

The Billionaire's Hired Girlfriend

“You’ve had three big pieces already.” “I have? I don’t remember eating them.” Peter and Margaret laughed. Peter said, “She means sweet potatoes.” “Yeah, we call them kumara. It’s a Maori word for sweet potatoes,” Alex said. “Kumara,” Jay tried out the word. “I like the name.” After a good, hearty dinner and then dessert of ice cream and fruits, Alex said good night to the Thompsons and left. It was cold and dark outside as she rushed to her car. She was about to get in when Jay called out to her. “Hey, sorry to bother you.”

On the Origin of Humanity

On the Origin of Humanity

I grabbed a plate and spoon, waiting in line behind Peter and the people in front of us to see what they had to offer. The first container was a tub full of baked beans that smelt like the most wonderful thing ever, full of brown sugary goodness. A woman behind the buffet counter ladles a heaping spoonful onto our plates, ushering us down the counter. The next tub was full of thick and creamy-looking cheesy potato soup. It’s the good stuff, not some cheap brand of soup. The potatoes were obviously fresh given that they’re not perfect uniform squares, and I’m sure they’ve been slow cooked in a mixture of cream of chicken soup and maybe some kind of cream. At least, that’s the way my mom used
