Saved, Then Rejected by my Ice Hockey Mate
Books were stacked on both – some about hockey, others that looked like they were about history, mythology, school stuff and spirit guardians…
A small desk sat in the corner near the window, covered in papers, and what looked like a sketchbook with a pencil resting on top of it. Posters of hockey teams lined one wall, and there was a large wardrobe in the opposite corner. The same warm, cedar-like smell filled the room, and the faint glow from the fireplace in the other room cast soft shadows across the floor.
