In my opinion, physics is something that came into existence with the sole purpose of torturing nineteen year olds. But then again, come to think of it. 19 years olds wouldn't exist if it weren't for things like thrust and force, which we do also learn in physics... But that's natural instinct of animals! We don't have to be taught how to thrust and- "OI WINSLOW!"

Physics can be defined as the science of matter, motion, and energy. Its laws are typically expressed with economy and precision in the language of mathematics– my brain felt like it was melting. Sitting and staring at a textbook did not ensure the mind registering and understanding what it came across. Learning and understanding went together like bread and butter and I was missing my butter. Basic science and math were beyond my comprehending, this much was clear when I reached for my calculator to ensure five plus seven was indeed twelve. I had no passion to learn or try to even understand.

"I see that." "Have you done any of this before? Like, do you have any foundation at all or are we starting from zero?" He looked at me. "Do I look like someone with a physics foundation?" "Fair enough." I opened to chapter one. "Okay. So. Kinematics. This is the study of motion, how objects move, how fast, in what direction. It sounds complicated but the core of it is just four equations, and once you know those four equations you can answer basically anything they throw at you in the first assessment."

Thelma asked. Without lifting his head from the book, Derek answered with a hum. "I was also trying to learn it some time ago, and I am still learning it on my phone whenever I had the time, I don't have its textbook so do you mind borrowing me?" "It would have been good if you talk about how to settle your physics instead" "I am not born because of physics and I am not going to die because of it so you can just tell me if you are going to borrow me or not"

She beamed, sticking her pen in her hair bun. I groaned internally, but smiled at her anyways. "Sure Mrs. Berry. I understand that to every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction" I never learnt any of this from her, but after my very first class, I've resorted to watching YouTube videos to teach me physics, since I absolutely have to pass this subject. I proceeded to explain everything else to the listening and confused pupils around me just like every class, and by the time I was done, a series of 'ooohs' and 'that makes sense' vibrated around the room.

I replied back absentmindedly tapping my pen on my English textbook. Asher moved closer and shoved his Physics textbook right in front of my face. "This one," he said pointing to the question marked seven, "I don't know why the school makes us take this subject. It's just pointless considering I don't care about some random dude who got hit in the head with an apple and then decided it'd be fun to torture people with his stupid theories." I chuckled and shook my head at his stupidity. "You do know Physics is essential to everyday life right?" I asked arching my eyebrow at him.
