I couldn't help but be drawn to this enigmatic person, and the intoxicating scent that seemed to surround them. A primal instinct roared to life within me, and a low, rumbling growl vibrated through my chest. "Mate!" my wolf snarled, the word echoing in my mind like a battle cry. As if sensing my wolf's claim, the stranger's head snapped around, their eyes locking onto mine with an unnerving intensity. A single word spilled from their lips, husky and raw: "Mate!" The moment our gazes met, reality seemed to warp and twist. My mind recoiled in horror as I took in the stranger's features—the sharp jawline, the piercing eyes, the chiseled physique. This couldn't be happening.

Micah shrugs. I giggle. Micah turns and pulls me close against his body. He gives me a mischievous look and begins to waltz. Micah is an amazing dancer. He is good at everything, to be honest. * *whoosh! Zamonte swiftly glided over the sea, swiftly transitioning into arrest mode and launching several rounds of takedown ammunition above the water. He then switched to drive ammo, skillfully spinning his body in mid-air and using compressed air from his feet to hover above the water's surface. He continued firing additional takedown shots. After a few moments, the water churned, causing moisture to rise and form a small waterspout that moved towards the safehouse before quickly dissipating. Though the steam and moisture cleared the sand mist, it only heightened everyone's unease.

Two heavy, mounted fifty-caliber machine guns pointed down the eastern trail, unmanned for now as the crew boiled rations over small, smokeless stoves.
