I pulled out the chair opposite him. “Let’s try again.” He smiled. “You’re wasting your time.” “Who is Crispin Halloway?” His smile disappeared. “You know exactly who he is.” “I want you to tell me.” “He’s the man who’s going to fix this world.” Tavish scoffed. “By attacking hospital transports?” The soldier looked at him. “By preventing another war.” I leaned forward.

Neither the girl nor Kayden registered any awareness of their company at all. Grabbing the little folded square of paper, the soldier turned and fled. His pal followed close behind, and this time they didn’t stop until they reached their bunk, where they slipped into the crowd of soldiers and tried to play it cool, like they’d been there taking a break with the others all afternoon. The soldier kept the letter hidden in his pocket until he was sure he was alone. Only then did he unfold it and begin to study the words on the page. Here he had already been thinking that this was a lucky day.

I voiced out. Ralph and I surged forward, our hearts pounding in unison as we raced towards the chaos that awaited us. Our eyes met, and a silent understanding passed between Ralph and me. "Fridolf!" We chorused. "Some soldiers attacked, but everything is under control," Ralph's words came rushed but resolute. "Are you sure?" "Yes, I just asked Tala through the mind link," Ralph's response came swift and sure. But as my gaze swept over the fallen soldier, a sickening realization washed over me, the unusual markings on his armour bearing the signs of barbarian soldiers.

Around the image in big bold white letters are the words Rejects MC. I narrow my eyes as his stands there with his arms crossed leaning against my car, smoking a cigarette. I march over, get in front of his vision and cross my arms matching his gesture. "Um excuse me sugar, but last I checked leaning against a person's hood was rude. Maybe your mamma didn't teach you that, but I can assure you it is." The stranger smirks then pulls his cigarette out of his mouth and flicks it away from the two of us.

He asked making her shake her head. She noticed he was only wearing a thin t shirt. His muscles were bulging out when he went inside his camp. His camp did not have a zip like others. It was open. How could he sleep in such cold. He walked out wearing another jacket and another water bottle in hand. "Go behind that rock," he said and put the water bottle in her head. "Why?" She asked. He looked at her incredulously. "You need to pee," he said straight forwardly. He had noticed her clamping of legs again and again.

Sometimes they get up and come back to fight again, and sometimes they don’t. We’ve been fighting for awhile when I hear Hyacinth scream. I turn and see that Buppig is fighting against a solider, using only a knife. The soldier has him down and Hyacinth is beating on him. I can’t get to him, I’m fighting ten of my own soldiers, Dominic right beside me taking on at least 10 on his own. Tialha’s water is running thin and the trolls are getting attacked by multiple soldiers who are stabbing them with swords, blood running down their bodies.

On the girl's left side was a younger version of Rudy, clad in a jersey uniform with a ball hanging under his right arm. The wall was also filled with both wedding and family photos. It was endearing to think that a camera could capture and preserve such wonderful memories in just one press, with each picture having their own story to tell. Her orbs rested on a frame above. It was an image of a brigade of soldiers, wearing their usual uniform. The background of the picture was familiar. Her stare drifted to each member, looking for a certain someone, and eventually finding the culprit.
