The jade crescent glowed again and as his hand struck out towards me, a force pushed him aside like he had hit a barricade. I did not have time to think of what was happening since a terrifying roar rent the air. A sound that sent chills down my spine and filled me with a new sense of hope.

The impact threw debris into the air, and the shockwave hit my chest like a hammer. She stood in the crater she’d made, her gaze sweeping across us with no hint of recognition, only rage. Scarface, taken aback, remarked, "I didn't expect you to be so agile, dodging a bullet like that. You're lucky this time, but there won't be a next."
