But who was he and what was he doing here? "My name is Omar," The Shaman suddenly said as if reading his thoughts. "But my clients prefer to call me 'Father'," He looked into their faces and continued. "What brings you here, Yolanda Hamilton, and you too, Charles Hilary." Officer Hillary opened his mouth to speak but his attention was immediately drawn to something else. "How did you know our names?" He demanded. Then, he turned to look at his friend and asked, "Yolanda, did you tell him who we are?"

Elira leaned in, whispering quickly as though even saying their names too loudly could bring trouble. “ The girl in the middle is Cressida Vale, a dragonkin sorceress with blazing crimson hair and molten-gold eyes. Known for breathing sparks when angry. Damien’s girlfriend. Ruthless, manipulative, always two steps ahead”. “Beside her by the right is Lura Duskbane, a vampire enchantress with long raven-black hair and lips the color of fresh blood. She has the ability to cloud minds and lure secrets from anyone. Cold and cruel.”

“When I say ‘price’ I don’t mean any kind of monetary value. This kind of magic tends to come with some heavy consequences.” Once more, my stomach churned in knots, but I had to persist. I needed to know more. Potential consequences or not. “Who is this person?” I dared to ask. “Her name is Aurora,” Ms. Sage said with a light smile. “And she is unlike any creature that’s ever existed in this part of the world. A powerful sorceress with the extraordinary ability to heal like no other, amongst other things.” An unsettling feeling raced down my spine. “Where exactly is she?”

“You’re right, Seith. No one called me Sori, except for my wolf. It was a nickname I gave myself when I imagined that people really got to know me.” The impact of that statement hit me like a feather tickling my chin. “Like the way you all call me Sori.” “Your name is S-O-R-A-Y-A, correct?” Seith asked, spelling it out. “And S-O-R-I-E?” “I didn’t put an E on it.” We all looked at Seith while he mulled over his thoughts. “Dad, can you call Toren and have him create a lineage for S-O-R-E-E?” Seith grinned. “We can hide you in plain sight with your new but the same name.”

Miles Several millennials ago,a woman by the name of Alba convinced her husband Shiv to make her more powerful. Alba was a descendant of a long line of powerful sorceresses. When her mother died,she became the next sorceress for their clan. Unfortunately,Alba was a very weak sorceress. She couldn't commune with spirits. She couldn't cast spells or any of the other things a sorceress could do. Afraid she would lose her place as a leader of the clan,she convinced her husband Shiv,a powerful mage to perform a ritual that would grant her more powers.

To Varca, she looked like Medusa. "Pegasus...what a nice name..." Varca says, "I want to have a name like yours by my side, Pegasus. Come, join me."
