Two weeks have passed since the twins were born. We were able to take them home a few days after they were born. The first twin we named after Kennedy. The second twin we named Peyton. Thankfully she hasn't had any problems with her breathing since I revived her at birth. It was the middle of the night when I heard whimpers from the nursery. I carefully slip out of bed and enter the nursery. I peer down at the twins and Peyton's face was scrunched up, like she was ready to start wailing.

As we were leaving, Dave called out to us. “Wait! You haven’t answered my question. Who are you and who are those twins?” he asked again. I looked at the twins before answering. “We’re just people you don’t know, Mr. Dave Mondragon Santiago. Goodbye.” I turned to open the door, only for Dave’s father to enter, puzzled by the twins’ sadness. He looked at me. “My dear,” he said softly. “I’m sorry,” he added. I just gave him a small smile.

its different than what I've gotten used to but its definitely so much fun seeing it being created from scratch. in case you've forgotten the twins are of Japanese and African descent. their names are derived from feudal lords in Japan, takeda shingen, tokugawa Ieyasu, and date Masamune. if you wish to know more about these 16th century feudal lords I recommend looking them up. history is amazing.

But in Hell, twins look completely opposite. Erys was a near pale demon with dark silver hair and bright jade eyes. Delirus was a pale black demon with black hair and white eyes. Which made it almost impossible to know where he was looking. Damien and Kanna, my two twins with Erys, walked in through the big front doors and met with their younger sister, Elysia. Damien had his fathers hair, my eyes, and was a wolf like me. Kanna had white hair, a blue eye, red eye, and was a bear like her dad. Elysia, or Elly as I called her, had white hair, blue yes, and was a black tiger. Yet another thing that baffled me. But I just figured that was another way that Heaven and Hell were different.

“You can’t—” “I can,” the echo said softly. “Because you called me.” Serenya staggered back, shaking her head. “I didn’t call you.” The twin stepped closer, every movement a mirror of her own. “Every vow calls what it cannot contain. You are the echo of what I once was — the heart remade. And now, we will be one.” Kaelen forced himself to his feet, blood trickling from his temple. “Over my dead—” The echo turned its hand, and the ground erupted between them. Kaelen was hurled back again, sliding across the slick floor, gasping for air. The twin didn’t even glance at him. Her gaze stayed locked on Serenya.

Earth witnessed the birth of the twins under an eclipse while aurora borealis danced in the night sky. Twins are born from a single soul of destiny coin, and this means that each twin has one-half of the soul. Their mother died giving birth to them, so their father raised them alone. Their father is a very kind man, he always looks out for them. As they grew older, they realized that they have feelings of love, hate, and kindness for others. "I don't want to hurt anyone, I just want to be liked by everyone, and be happy," said the older twin. "I want to be happy and not worry about anything, I am sick of being sad and not knowing why I feel this way, I wish I could die already."
