“You are rare.” My mother’s hand flies to her mouth. My father stiffens beside me. “The Second Mark exists to restore balance,” the Alpha King continues. “But it comes at a cost.” My heart pounds loudly in my ears. “What kind of cost?” “Pain. Conflict. “So,” Rowan said, sitting back on her heels, crouched in front of our little circle on the porch, “the book says that marks, or signs, like the one we’ve been seeing are Marks of the Underworld. Sort of like a supernatural clue for anyone smart – or lucky – enough to recognise it.”

Mark asserted. “Okay,” Olivia replied while Mark transported back to his place on the earth. He snapped his finger and the other scroll appeared in his hand. He read about the details of the soul, which were imprinted there. As he was walking through the street, he was pushed by a stranger man on the footpath. He turned to look and apologized. The man was in a hurry so, did not reply to Mark.

Entering the lady's washroom she took of her bloody hand gloves, threw them in the dustbin, turned on the basin, and splashed water on her face. The consequences of working hours upon hours were visible in her body. She looked at herself in the mirror. Pale face, dark circles under her eyes, furrowed eyebrows, fatigue were evident on her face. A yawn of exhaustion left her mouth. She sighed deeply. Washing her face again, she left from there to her cabin.

He was feeling like any magician spelled a magic to bring this fairy on earth that appeared all of sudden here out of nowhere. Rakesh was like totally lost in the world of beauty, allure, mojo and sensuality.

It was a vow from one soul to another. The kind of mark that doesn't wash off. Not in this life or in the next.

You see, marking is a way to bind the separated halves of the soul, but they’re not merged into one yet. During mating, the souls connect and are finally made one. After binding the souls with the marking, the separated halves demand being joined and that’s why the mates go into a heat. Theo discards the glass and walks towards my direction, he gives me a small smile while taking hold of my hand. "I have marked her" he says with a deep breathe. "What!" Everyone shouts in unison. "Theo that's not even possible" Luna Iris is quick to say with worry in her eyes, "I have marked her soul mother and soon I'll mark her flesh as well" he briefs his statement. "That is not how it works in our world" dad takes a step forward, his eyes filling with annoyance. "Don't lead it too far boy that returning back might hurt more than imaginable" dad warns.

She turned around and pulled her hair to the side, exposing the back of her neck. Kaelan cursed under his breath. “Rhea, there’s a mark.” Her heart sank. “What do you mean, a mark?” “It’s... ancient,” he said, his fingers ghosting over the spot. “I’ve seen it before. It’s the symbol of the Soulmate Bond.” Rhea turned to face him, her eyes wide. “Soulmate Bond? What are you talking about?” Kaelan ran a hand through his hair, clearly agitated. “It’s a connection—something spiritual. It’s rare, but when wolves find their true mate, the bond manifests physically. That mark... it means you’re connected to someone.”
