Mates Deception
For a moment, her body actually lifted off the ground, her back arched, and, for one second, all the whites of her eyes were exposed.
“No! No! Please!” she cried. Her hands were suddenly at her chest, scratching at the floor in front of her as if to gouge a hole through it. “It hurts! Stop! Please stop!”
But the witch didn’t stop. She was whispering fast now, her hands glowing brighter. A strange fog came from Sirella’s mouth. A silvery mist. It twisted and curled in the air like smoke.
That was her wolf.
That was her soul.
“Noooo!” Sirella screamed, her voice cracking.
