I awaken wearing a muzzle, seeing the angry face of General Andrew Patterson looking at me with rage. I smirk at him and wave. I cackle manically as I bang against the tank again. He shakes his head with tears in his eyes and walks away. END OF FLASHBACK!

Kalder closed in on his pod mate, who still tapped away on his stupid device. "I wanted to see how quickly it killed people." Finally, his colleague looked up. "They paid good money—thought it was some new psychedelic. I won't do it again." "You're right; you won't." Kalder flicked his wrist, unsheathing his blade. In a blur of movement, he struck out at his target, who gaped in shock. Punching upward, Kalder skewered the bastard.

And with that, the punishment was complete. No longer would their souls continue to exist, and they would be incapable of reincarnating anymore…
