My voice turned cold as ice. “From the moment you made that choice, James, there was nothing left between us, except hatred.”
Gasps rippled through the room. All eyes turned toward him—some shocked, others filled with disgust. As it turned out, he wasn’t Luke, but Luke’s brother James, who abandoned his own wife and son just to claim the throne.
