Five Mates? The Alpha Brothers' Golden-Eyed Luna

Five Mates? The Alpha Brothers' Golden-Eyed Luna

Luckily for me, there was an online reading platform where I could read novels of my choice. I picked up a werewolf novel written by one of my favorite authors, *The Beta and I*, and after reading one chapter, I was hooked. DUKE I don't know whether or not Precious perceived the scent of another woman on my body. After I got back and entered the room I shared with my brothers, her face was calm, and she didn't say anything.

Loved this book! The characters are so real and you want everything to work out for them. The author has a wonderful way of making them come to life for you. And if you’re like me I can picture them and the scenes she creates in my mind. I have read this book from front to back at least 4 times!

Where Do We Belong?

Where Do We Belong?

Some people however had secrets that were not known to anybody which could easily be taken as suspicious. There was Jill the bookworm who spent most of her time at the library or at home with curtains shut. At least people thought it was her home and there was Wren the outcast who appeared to be living all alone in the junk-yard on the edge of Oaken Hills. This didn’t seem to be a good idea with such a powerful storm on its way.

That Which We Consume

That Which We Consume

I wasn’t too surprised honestly, that’s exactly how normal people should have reacted. On a lighter note, Byana and her people left a few days ago. We’d rescued everyone from one of the containment facilities, but not without heavy losses. Some of the wolves questioned whether or not we should have left them there or not, which had a lot of them fighting amongst each other. The mood in the house was morbid; I could still feel a lot of tension and anger between everyone. We were tired, mourning our losses, missing home, and trying to plan our next move. The way things were going, there wouldn’t be many humans left to fight. The one thing no one wanted to hear was that we needed each other. Th

The Story of Us

The Story of Us

I can't see clearly you know as my focus is on the road. "How naughty!" This man was unbelievable! "Ohhh, it was delicious. Thank you." I was helpless. All I could do was laugh. "So, which beach are we going to?" I asked him as I munched on my own bread. "Well it's not a commercial beach resort. It's a villa actually near the seaside. We call it Villa del Sol." "Ohh, I've been there!" "Really? I suppose with your Ex?" "Yeah. 5 years ago. I thought he was going to propose there.. Haha.. Me and my wishful thinking."

Dropped Into a NSFW Novel and Immediately Became His Obsession

Dropped Into a NSFW Novel and Immediately Became His Obsession

My plan was simple: Live like a slacker until Travis became a rich, successful CEO. Then sit back and enjoy life as a pampered young lady. During my major course, I was hiding in the back row scrolling on my phone when the original Jennie’s best friend, Linda Lander, texted me and asked if I wanted to join a mixer party. That’s when I remembered. In the original novel, this was the scene where Nancy flirted with three high-quality male leads at a bar. It caused a ripple across the entire storyline.

The Vows We Never Chose

The Vows We Never Chose

“Some lies are told not to deceive the world—but to protect a heart n kkot ready to tell the truth.” A week had passed since “the rules” were made. The mansion had grown accustomed to silence—the kind that neither hurt nor healed, just *was*. Arielle kept herself busy with painting and reading; Evan drowned in work. They shared the same roof, the same meals, but not the same world. That peace—thin as glass—shattered one afternoon when a message arrived.

The Way We Were

The Way We Were

All the words he wished to say were reduced to a single sentence. "Goodbye, Lena. I pray for your happiness." I nodded slightly, and Jacob and I walked away, holding Millicent and Jonathan's hands. Jacob looked at me, and his eyes seemed to hold a world of tenderness. "When I first saw you at the auction, I fell for you at first sight. I looked into your background and even proposed a marriage alliance with the Kingsley family. But when I learned you had someone you loved, I let go of the idea.

Ever since I stumbled upon 'We' by Yevgeny Zamyatin, it’s lingered in my mind like a haunting melody. The book paints this chilling vision of a dystopian future where society operates under the rigid control of the One State, a place where individuality is erased in favor of absolute conformity. The protagonist, D-503, is a mathematician who initially embraces the logic and order of this world, but his life spirals into chaos when he meets I-330, a rebellious woman who introduces him to love, passion, and the messy beauty of free will.

The narrative unfolds through D-503’s diary entries, which start as clinical records but gradually become more erratic as his emotions unravel. Zamyatin’s prose is sharp and unsettling, almost like a mathematical equation that suddenly cracks under its own weight. The themes—surveillance, resistance, the tension between reason and desire—feel eerily relevant today. What struck me most was how the Green Wall, this literal barrier separating the 'perfect' society from the wild, untamed world outside, mirrors our own struggles with freedom and control. It’s a book that doesn’t just ask questions; it lingers in your bones long after the last page.
