The master of the sword

The master of the sword

he washes himself unseen, by some mysterious spirit. An impulse to which he sweated for years and with unshakable will he had fought with various weapons in his great battle Bosworth and defeated the equalities with the king who fought with the same interest, Richard III, keeping them only for himself, at that time the Earl of Birmingham was only twelve years old, the age of a lad quite dark for the serenity of his countenance, so all his servants and lackeys left him speechless with their frantic impassivity, of admiration on the evening of August 22, 1485, a pity that this had not gone well with a bad mood of the king, who, with his hands stained with blood from the sword and baltag cuts,

The Demon King And His Forbidden Werewolf Queen

The Demon King And His Forbidden Werewolf Queen

I walked to the throne room, and Irish was having a difficult time keeping up with me, so I slowed down. “Come to the garden tomorrow by 2 o’clock sharp,” I said. “Okay, your majesty,” she said, confused. “You may leave,” I said. Then I passed another hallway, with what the maid said running through my head. I totally forgot about that rule, but now she has reminded me it can only mean that there are others with that mindset, and she is right. What King Richard II did to the kingdom many years ago will never leave demon history. He killed many and turned them into slaves, and for years he ruled them, and it was mostly the poor that suffered.

Poppie

Poppie

*Trigger Warning : This chapter includes an event in specific detail which may have a triggering effect. Please proceed with caution. * Poppie Richard II was nice and polite when he picked me up from the hotel. He wasn’t acting as weird as he was before, but he was handsy. He loved touching; he liked to slowly run his fingers across my skin just before touching me directly.

Stuck Between Two Alphas

Stuck Between Two Alphas

I didn’t wait for her to take another step…I ran straight into her arms, burying my head against her chest as she held me tight. When she finally pulled back, her hands skimmed over me, checking every inch as if to make sure I was really standing there, whole and unharmed. Only when she was satisfied did she turn to face the men in the room. “You all kept us waiting, what’s going on here?” she demanded, throwing her hands in the air. Marcus grinned. “Richard is trying to kill the King. Again.” “Richard!” she scolded, smacking his arm. “We talked about this! You promised not to attack your daughter’s husband! How many times do I have to remind you?”

The Beastly Lycan's Unwanted Wife

The Beastly Lycan's Unwanted Wife

Richard "Regina, the Queen of Illuminare," Richard announced to the crowd. The crowd erupted in applause, their eyes fixed on me. I stood shocked by the cheerful repose from the pack member; I wasn't really accepting such good repose from my people. I never thought they would accept someone so young and unqualified to be their queen. As I gazed at their adoring faces, a sense of responsibility washed over me. I don't know if I deserve such kind hospitality from all these people. I felt overwhelmed by the weight of their expectations, unsure if I could live up to the title bestowed upon me. However, Riichard placed his hands on my waist as he gently pulled me to him, offering me reassurance a

Second Marriage to Mr. Rich

Second Marriage to Mr. Rich

Juliet refused to believe it. Juliet was just an uneducated old woman from the countryside. She would only believe the things she could comprehend. In her opinion, no matter how powerful the Lawsons were, they were just businessmen. Even if they were the richest in the country, they were still businessmen who didn't have as much authority as the government officials.

author please ensure the FL ends up with Sean Lawson. Even if Ned has supposedly lost his memories it doesn' justify the methods he uses to defame and insult someone without evidence. If she ends up with him I would be thoroughly disappointed in the novel. Sean is the green flag hero we all hope for

This book should have gotten a 10 rating instead of 8. It’s unique and very different from most stories that always gotten married for 3, 4 or 5 years and gotten divorced, with the female lead always waitingforthe male lead to come home and eat her prepared dinner only to be presented with a divorce

In A Billion$ of $tar

In A Billion$ of $tar

This would give Diego the upper hand to slaughter him. On the top of that, Diego had even imagined the ways to torment Rudolf, to make him kneel before him and bow to him. Richard’s unexpected appearance however ruined all Diego’s plan. He wished to take Richard’s life right away but he knew who he was. He was aware that Richard’s strength was fairly close to Rodulf. Therefore, it was going to be very difficult for him to kill Richard. In truth, both of them would very likely end up being severely injured if a fight were break out between them.

“ Or didn't you hear that the Storm's never betray? I don't expect you to know that casue you've always been dumb. “ Richard was caught trying to steal the royal scroll and when interrogated, he confessed that he had connived with Lady Eleanor and Lord Balor to take the throne for themselves. " To think I married a good man but you were only after my money. Makes me wonder, did you plan my banishment too? “ She smirked evilly and he shook his head vigorously. " I would never betray you. “ Richard said weakly. " Yet you betrayed my family." She scoffed.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve used SparkNotes for years to brush up on Shakespeare before class discussions, and their 'Richard II' summary holds up pretty well for the big moments—the deposition scene, John of Gaunt’s 'this sceptred isle' speech, all that juicy political drama. But here’s the thing: SparkNotes flattens the language. Shakespeare’s wordplay, the subtle ironies in Bolingbroke’s rise, even the garden metaphor in Act 3—they get reduced to plot points. If you just need a crash course on who betrays whom, it’s fine. But if you’re into the poetry? Crack open the actual text. The way Richard’s self-pity becomes almost lyrical in the original? SparkNotes can’t bottle that magic.

Also, minor characters like the Duchess of Gloucester get sidelined hard. Her grief early on sets tone for the whole 'hollow crown' theme, but SparkNotes barely mentions her. It’s like summarizing 'Game of Thrones' by only tracking the throne—you miss the textures that make it sing. Still, as a last-minute lifeline before an exam? 7/10.
