I murmured. She beamed and then closed her eyes. I looked at Kira and nodded. I could only bring Kira and Jerry. Scarlette was drugged so she could sleep. Kira was dressed in her black and green sorceress robe. She only wore it for important rituals, as did Jericho. She closed her eyes, holding her staff in front of her and began reciting the spell Sapphire gave to her. Her spell was different from Jerry's, longer and more complicated. I know little about spells but I knew it was difficult even for Kira. Jerry got the easy part.
