“Declan… I don’t know what she’s talking about—ahhhh!” Nurse Kerri raised her hand and clenched it; a strong surge of pain spiraled through Gladia. Her pain was not physical. It's directed to her soul, or whatever she calls her dark spirit. “You shouldn’t even feel that if you were Serena. That spell only works on unsettled spirits inside another body.”

She should see me like this. I get off Conrad and nick his neck to prove a point. I then address Stella directly. "What is he talking about, Stella?". Her head peeks out from behind her father as she looks at me intently. She then steps out more, but her father is trying to push her back behind him. "It's OK, daddy. She's not black. She's swirly". I start talking to Serena. "The hell does she mean I'm swirly?". "I think I know, but I will need to look into her eye to confirm".

Nash notices a pod of dolphins swimming around a few meters from shore, and points them out to our little girl. She looks up, following her daddy’s finger, then sees the dolphins. She starts to clap and giggle, her body overwhelmed with joy at the sight. This is normal behavior for a baby her age - I’ve seen Samuel do the same thing when he sees a fire truck drive by - but then something strange starts to happen. A glowing light, visible even in the daylight sun, appears. First it’s just in her hair, which is growing in as blonde tufts, and then it spreads to her fingers and toes, covering all her skin. Stella doesn’t seem bothered by it, still watching the dolphins and making her happy baby

Elise glued their beaks and put them into the cage once again using her powers. Priestess Nehes was so furious with her. Elise returned the pair of ears of each one and cast a spell on her opponent. Their spells seemed to be the same as a silver spark appeared between them. Usually, when they threw spells at each other, there were red or green or gold sparks especially when they blocked or had a shield on. Elise knew it could happen that way when two opponents cast the same spell. It would neither misfire nor attack an opponent but meet halfway and thus created a silver spark. High Priestess Nefer’s knowledge informed her of this fact.

Rogart slowly raised his right hand and the golden glow that surrounded him instantly condensed into a golden palm print that rushed toward Skylar. The golden palm print was getting bigger and bigger till it had grown tens of meters in diameter as it appeared before Skylar, sealing all his possible paths of escape. For a moment, many people present held their breath in trepidation for Skylar. Skylar’s expression turned solemn. He gripped onto his Dark Battle saber and discharged his power, causing a dazzling ray of light shot out from his Dark Battle saber in an instant. Three cold words escaped from Skylar's mouth. "Crush Heaven Spell!"

Apple whispered, stroking my back while Scarlette stroked my head and mopped my face with a handkerchief. The place was quiet with only soft murmurs reverberating. "It's a target spell," Kira's voice spoke higher than everyone else's. "I've seen this spell and I'll know the caster anywhere. It's a spell from the black witch, Nero," "Nero?!" Jerry shouted. "Well fuck!"

Her head bled profusely as Spark's mom laid unconscious on the ground. Spark witnessing all this stood up with rage and ran to his mother. "Mom!!!! Mom!!!" he screamed out shaking her body repeatedly. "May!! Dad!!" Spark shouted looking towards the mansion as they both rushed out. "She needs urgent care" Spark said handing his mom over to his dad. "awwn!! Momma gonna die" Stella spoke faking a sympathy "You bitch" Spark shouted as he tried using his Kinesis on her since his close range attacks were useless. "that old trick can't work on me again" Stella elucidated as she raised up her left hand revealing a silver coloured wrist like device on her wrist.

Stella continued to scream and moan in agony as the black substance oozed from her. Nara who had been casting the spell watched with a scary smile on her face. She seemed to take pleasure in Stella's suffering, though she was avoiding a blood shed but it had already come down to one, and Nara told Stella as she screamed, "next time in your other life, you will choose your words careful and think before you act". After a few moments, the screaming stopped, and Stella laid still. Nara who had cast the spell smirked and wiped her hands together. Her eyes gleamed with an unholy light as she surveyed her work.

I used the 90% time of Samil's presentation to concentrate on casting my spell. "Take out the cor inane and place it on the table," I said quietly, covering my mouth so no one could see my lips move. I was trying to concentrate solely on Victor Artois, but the distractions were coming from everywhere. When the other members started to ask Samil questions concerning the presentation, focusing on Victor Artois became impossible. I couldn't make him look into my eyes for even a second, and an eye contact was crucial for my spell to work. "He was glaring at me non-stop before Samil's presentation started! Why can't he take a simple glimpse at me now while I try to put a spell on him?!" I whined
