TILL DEATH DO US PART.

TILL DEATH DO US PART.

Standing there, barely ten feet away is Jaden staring at me like he has just seen a ghost. His reaction is confirmation enough that he knew my sister and knows that she is dead. "We'll take one of each," a good looking guy in a suit says. I know him, his assisstant who goes everywhere with him. I struggle to take my eyes off Jaden and work on their order. "Anything else?" I ask with a smile which seems to disarm him. They turn to walk away. I won't have another shot. 'Say something, anything' my mind screams at me.

Wanted By The Mafia King: Not Your Propery Don Lucien

For the first time in months, I felt a sense of relief wash over me completely, serenading every inch of my body as I felt at peace. It had been a long, ugly battle that resulted in the deaths of a handful of people but it was worth it in the end. Syrius had been dealt with and defeated. His body was never recovered from the explosion but it was clear to everyone present there that there was no way he had survived it–Alessandro testified to it himself.

At least he was still able to witness such strength before he died. It was worth dying to see what he had been living for. Trek closed his eyes. "This can't be true. They were just fighting each other, and now, one of them is dying?" "Yeah. Trek Cayman must be prepared to die because he has realized he can't win Chase Collins. Looks like Chase Collins is more powerful than we thought." "That's right. I didn't expect the first fight to have so much bloodshed. Someone is actually going to die."

Wanna Fake His Death? I Beat Him to It

He saw me as nothing but an obstacle to his true love, desperate to be free of me. His friends immediately offered suggestions. Bad Boy Roommate

Bad Boy Roommate

He quickly walked to my bed and I got off, grateful for his sacrifice. “Your death won’t be in vain.” I put my hands together in the form of a prayer, hoping Taranis makes it out of this grave situation alive. He bravely fought the spider with his life and will not be forgotten for as long as I live. Well, he had just taken his other slipper and smacked the spider with it so it squashed with all of it’s legs flattened out against the floor.

The Death Timer

The Death Timer

When our whole family saw the death timer for my sister will end on her sixteenth birthday, she became the most important person in the family. She suddenly took priority in everything, from food to dresses, and even bedtime stories. I felt for her, but I was also jealous that she was given everything. However, a day before her sixteenth birthday, my parents locked me up in the storeroom in fear that I would make a mess of things. I kept hammering the door, crying, "Mom, let me out! I'm having a fever, and my head hurts!" Mom didn't believe me. "Just stop! Your sister will die in just a day, and you're playing sick to gain our sympathy?! Don't you understand anything?!" "No…" I tried m

Death's Day

Death's Day

If it ever did, he would dismiss it as a mere gossip. Marcus continued staring through the windows as the greenery rushed past them, while he turned back inwardly to something that was troubling his soul. His mind told him he had made a mistake. His ego told him that what he did was right. It was not every day that one got to deal with a witch, even if it was a little boy. That wouldn’t have been a problem if he had not nearly choked because the boy, Jason was looking at him. Dean had died soon after. Problem was he didn’t know how powerful the boy was.

The mafia’s captive

The mafia’s captive

“But scared men talk fast when death circles.” And then—it happened. Gunfire. A single shot rang out from the rooftops. Then another. “Move!” Spider hissed. But it was too late. The Jackal’s men exploded from the shadows, swarming. Spider ducked and rolled behind a stone column, knives flying. Widowmaker held the high ground—until she didn’t. A grenade blast knocked her from the ledge, slamming her body into rusted rebar. “No!” Spider screamed, charging through smoke and bullets to drag Widowmaker to safety.

Sculpted in Death

When it was almost time for Layla to blow the candles just before midnight, there were over a million viewers watching her livestream. With a party hat on her head, Layla had a bashful look on her face as she put her hands together. Meanwhile, everyone was doing the countdown. Just then, Brenda rushed into the room and grabbed Layla's arm. She smiled at her in a very strange way. So, don't come looking for me. Alright?"

Death To The Alpha

Death To The Alpha

James narrows his eyes, fury burning in them as he stalks toward me. But I stay in place, my shoulders back and my chin held high. “You killed all of them?” he seethes I give him a shrug. “Maybe not all of them, but definitely killed Beta Dorian.” He rears back in surprise. His eyes roam over me and his lips set in a hard line as if he is trying to come to some conclusion about me. “Maybe you did, maybe didn’t,” he whispers, his eyes growing hard. “Why are you here, then?”

Holy crap.. this was absolutely amazing!!Definitely some tough parts throughout to read, but man was it well written, flowed well, and had amazing character progression. It’s a slow burn, but it’s so worth it! This author is becoming one of my favorites! Author - absolutely amazing job!! :)

Wow, I couldn't put this book down. The story is about revenge, learning to trust, finding family, and healing through trauma. The fight scenes can be graphic, but they are balanced by steamy make-out sessions. The second love interest is not abusive, but he has a secret. Great job.
