A boy and his bear. Gemma quickly returned to herself and tucked it away in the floor. She slid the board back into place. Her hands still shook the entire time, and she watched the spot, almost expecting the boy to move the floorboard and climb out. This was worse than expecting a ghost to be behind her, ready to eat her. Had she seen what she thought she saw? Was that real? Who sleeps with a wild bear cub? Where were they? She didn’t know what to do. Should she tell someone? Or would that get her in more trouble with Aunt Esme and her parents?

I whispered, “give me a sign. Take me back to Falcon.” Suddenly, a small group of deer came racing out of the forest to my left. I didn’t raise my head as I watched them flee for their lives. Two bears came sprinting out of the woods after them, stopping before entering the woods on the other side. One shifted back and I was stunned to see a fully nude Tara. She sagged slightly against the bear for a minute before walking into the trees. She came back out fully dressed and climbed on the bear’s back. I watched as they began to walk down the road with her running her fingers through his fur.

That night, Elara dreamed. She stood within a vast forest. Silver mist drifted between enormous trees. The moon hung impossibly large overhead. Everything felt strange. Unreal. Yet familiar. A growl echoed through the darkness. Deep. Ancient. Powerful. Elara turned. A massive silver wolf emerged from the shadows. Its golden eyes locked onto hers. Instead of fear, she felt comfort. Recognition. The wolf approached slowly. When it stopped before her, she somehow understood. This was her wolf spirit. The dormant part of herself finally revealing its presence.

He suggests as he motions towards our surroundings. - "Is there anyone you can think of who could give us any insight about it?" I instigate. -"Yeah, but you wouldn't like to know who he is." -"He can't be worse than dead, can he?" -"If anyone were to know about two-spirit wolves inhabiting the same host, it would be Elder Theo. He is the only bookworm I can think of." Matt unveils. -"Never mind, he is worse than dead." Matt chuckles at my comment.

"We are all going out alive." She walked out and all the twenty animals turned towards us in sync. I shifted into my powerful Lycan, as Kai and Everett followed me. "Kill them all..." The ferals pounced at us, and the sound of bones rattling filled the air when I heard the familiar wail of the spirit. My eyes widened as I watched as the spirit reached lower and started to screech and scream until the ferals backed away and then completely disappeared. The spirit turned towards us, its body rattling in the wind.

"No, I'm not interested in your horseshit!" An invisible force pulled me back into the toilet and the door slammed shut. I took in a shaky breath, my heart ramming in my chest "Can you just listen!" Roxie snapped, hands in her pocket signalling impatience. "That day at the library we released a nightmare Spirit." Brea explained "And it's attached to you, it's feeding off your energy." I was so mad, I was literally seeing red "Well that wouldn't have happened if you had just listened to me."

All around Diana and Rudolph were books littered all over the place. In Diana's hand was a book titled, 'Soul Travel' while Rudolph had 'The Demonstration' in his hands. They had skimmed through so many books that not much was left. Diana was currently on a page about a wolf spirit, travelling to the in-between world to retrieve the soul of the human. Diana had been stuck on that chapter for a long time, trying to connect it to her case. The procedure would need an Oracle but all Werewolf Oracles were killed in the Reviving.

The rogue wolves froze. “What is that…” one of them said. The five spirit foxes and bear appeared. Not normal foxes. But spirits from the Darklands. Their eyes glowed. They surrounded Ariana, trying to protect her. “She is our promise, and we must keep her safe.” “Who dares touch our god?” The rogue wolves stepped back immediately. Fear filled their faces. “She’s not normal…” one of them said. Another whispered, “She’s a witch…” The spirits moved closer to the rogue wolves.

Soheila smiled and went to her bed to read the books that she had brought from the library. “Okay, I'll read this thickest book first,” Soheila said while tapping the book's cover. She opened the book and started reading. Minutes had passed, Soheila was devastated when she read the thickest book. The book contains the same topic from the book that Soheila often read. Soheila stopped reading and summon the three spirit beasts to play with just to let the time pass. She didn't summon White Tiger since the three little beasts might found out that a Legendary White Tiger was beside them all along.

The spirit had told them the book will fall into the wrong hand no matter how hard they try. "A-are you saying we won't get the book?" Ariana asked, stuttering slightly. She just could not believe that the spirit had spoken the right words. Isn't the spirit that of a fox? Known for their cunning act? Jasmine nodded. "Yes, we won't get the book at first" "What book are you talking about?" Jabal asked. They had just returned after going to so many places. They had thought by now they should be done with expelling the spirit and might be ready to listen to what they have to say but the mood they met them now says a different thing.
