I started the journey, I walked for two hours, and I wasn’t scared as I had my sword, my backpack and myself. I got to the river. I was thinking of sleeping there but then I started hearing voices and it seemed like the cold night river. I have heard about that river and how it can be. It is a place where spirits roam but it is famous for the Tell Tale spirit. The Tell-Tale spirit is a spirit that appears to tell you your future and it is always bad, it rarely comes out though, it has been disregarded as one of those old stories. I turned around to get away from the river and then it became extremely foggy all of a sudden and cold too, fear gripped me immediately and I knew I was in for it.

Susan 's POV: Startled by the vivid dream, I'm abruptly jolted awake. The dampness between my legs serves as a tangible reminder of how my body responds to these forbidden fantasies. I can't shake his face from my mind—those captivating eyes, those lips that brought both pleasures and torment to my senses. "This is sheer madness," I whisper in despair, seeking solace in reciting the Lord's prayer. Waking up repeatedly due to these haunting dreams has become exhausting, and I long for a reprieve.

Perhaps there was a sense of mystic destiny to Candlemaidens; they were born able to see spirits, and so they were chosen

Instead of moving on to the next settlement when it didn't find what it was looking for, it would attack and kill the pack members. Haven't met one myself, I used to think they were a myth. But with what had been going on it was hard to believe that anymore. There were four spirit wolf families in existence. There was a reason why they lived apart from the werewolves. They were like gods compared to us. If a spirit wolf was truly sacking settlements, then we were doomed.
