The descent into the Grenadines was no longer a flight into a "Green Hell." As the Vane Foundation’s VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) craft broke through the perpetual violet mist surrounding Isla de Sombra, the island revealed its transformation. It was no longer a jagged, defensive scar in the ocean; it was a gleaming lung of glass and obsidian.
