"Let's file an annulment, Isla..." Ibinigay ni Isla Ferrer ang lahat-lahat sa pinakamamahal niyang asawa na si George Madrigal. Mula sa pagmamahal, oras, atensyon at salapi. Subalit imbes na suklian ng kaakibat na pagmamahal, isang pagtataksil ang ginawa ng kanyang asawa at balak pang pakasalan ang kabit nito, dahilan kung bakit tuluyang nawasak ang puso ni Isla. Dahil sa sakit na ipinaramdam ni George sa kanya, ipinapangako ni Isla sa sarili niya na gaganti siya sa mga taong nanakit sa kanya. Kahit pa pabagsakin ang sarili niyang asawa na minsan na niyang minahal at sinamba. At sa kanyang pagbangon, mapagtatagumpayan kaya ni Isla ang balak niyang paghihiganti? O muli lang na manunumbalik ang dati niyang pagmamahal sa lalaki. Hanggang saan dadalhin si Isla ng galit na bumabalot sa kanyang puso? Magawa kaya niyang pabagsakin ang negosyo at ang pamilya Madrigal? Kayanin kaya niyang paghigantihan ang pamilyang naging ikalawa niyang tahanan?

When my parents were having an argument, my brother and I were put on the condenser fan unit out the window. We were tens of stories high. Our love-struck mother refused to let us back inside because he wanted our father to regret his decision. But that wasn't going to happen. Our father only felt that our mother was annoying. He then went out of the house after slamming the door behind him. Our mother was infuriated as she pointed as us. "If it weren't for you two drawbacks, I would have divorced him a long time ago. Shut your mouths or you can forget about coming back in!" My tears were blew dry by the cold wind. I swore inwardly that I would never forgive them. Later on, when our father was drunk driving and accidentally rammed into our mother. The two of them became disabled due to the car accident. The insurance company paid us over 1 million dollars, but I chose not to treat them.

It's my third day of being a ghost, and I feel like I'm going to starve to death again. The underworld messenger takes pity on me because I'm a child and secretly tells me that people like me, who suffered grievances and died with resentment, have to stay by the sides of the people who loved us most in life. Then, we survive on their "guilt". I lower my head and narrow my eyes. I choke up and say, "You might as well just leave me to starve." My mother hated me to the core. Why would she ever be guilty over my death?

She shatters the pendant, gouges my eyeballs out, slashes my tongue, and has several men torment me to death. Lastly, she includes my eyeballs as decorations in a bouquet and brings it to Mom. "This is a gift I've prepared for your birthday, Mom. Do you like it?"

My mother hated me, to the point that she wished I were dead. I knew I deserved to die. Sixteen years ago, if I hadn’t insisted on going out, my brother wouldn’t have died while trying to save me. Eventually, both of us got what we wished for. I got brain cancer. She had become a stranger to me as I forgot everything and went to die in blissful ignorance. Then, she went mad.
