Touchdown For The Devil

Touchdown For The Devil

It took a few agonizing seconds to buffer in the morning quiet, the blue light of the screen reflecting sharply in his eyes, and then the massive headline appeared in bold black text at the very top of the layout: NFL Legacy Richard Cole Donates $2M to Westbridge Athletic Program — Exclusive Interview Inside. He scrolled down slowly, his fingers tightening against the plastic frame of the device to read the subheading: Cole speaks on son's draft prospects, the importance of family values in elite sport, and his vision for Westbridge's future.

Skating on thin hearts

Skating on thin hearts

His phone screen glowed in the dim cabin light as he scrolled through article after article. George Carter. Billionaire, owner of the empire, philanthropist, yacht enthusiast. Every headline painted him as larger-than-life, the kind of man who could buy and sell entire hockey franchises without flinching. Atlan frowned, lingering on a photo of the silver-haired man stepping off a yacht with the grace of someone untouchable. This is the guy giving me a second chance? The weight of it pressed down harder than the altitude. He studied the man's sponsorship deals, charity galas, sports events. Carter was everywhere, backing winners, shaping industries. And beneath his name was a footnote that ma

Claimed by the Obsessive Billionaires

Claimed by the Obsessive Billionaires

“She’s so beautiful. She looks like a princess. The Solokovs come from old money. It’s only normal that their families ally. What better way to do it than a marriage alliance?” I knew wealthy people married wealthy people. I knew wealthy people engaged in marriage alliances all the time. I just didn’t think the person I’d slept with several times on the island would be someone else’s fiancé. Was he cheating on her with me? Was it even true? “I can’t believe it. The coldest CEO is finally off the market. I wonder if our boss will follow after that. Them and their petty competitions.” “I really thought Mr. Moretti would settle down first, to be honest. He’s older and well, is actually interest

The Rich Man's Game: It's Over

The Rich Man's Game: It's Over

Isaiah handed over the keys like he was used to it. I followed carefully as he entered a private room. Through the partially open door, I saw several young men dressed in sharp suits. They looked like the typical rich heirs you would see in tabloids. Pretending to be on a phone call, I loitered in the hallway near the room. From where I stood, I could see the table piled with dishes like lobster, king crab, and caviar—things I would only ever see on cooking shows. "Isaiah, seeing you in those cheap clothes cracks me up. You're the heir to billions, for crying out loud!"

The Billionaire's Game

The Billionaire's Game

Theodore wasn’t just distant; he was consumed by his responsibilities. “One more thing,” Nadia asked, curiosity rising. "I know he's wealthy, but what exactly does he do? How does he make a living?" Miranda’s tone turned serious. “Mr. Theodore is a businessman, Ms. Nadia, and he’s a billionaire.” Nadia blinked, her shock evident. “Billionaire?” she echoed. “He’s a billionaire?” Miranda nodded, her expression calm. “Yes. His wealth didn’t come from his family. He built it himself. The company, his investments—they’re all a result of his hard work. He didn’t inherit his wealth; he created it.”

The secret of the BILLIONAIRE

The secret of the BILLIONAIRE

" she asked, making her friend jump up and down. They went to a car dealership and bought a sports car. Meanwhile, Marco was staring at the screen of his cell phone, watching the notifications come in while smiling in response. "What a sweetheart, trying to hurt me financially just because she's upset, my wolf ended up leaving her well-equipped, but from the world I came from, money isn't such a big deal, although in this world it's so necessary, I have an amount that she wouldn't be able to spend even buying ten islands, she can spend as much as she wants," he thought, smiling gently.

The billionaire's addiction

The billionaire's addiction

Only the clatter of cutlery and the soft hum of the AC can be heard. “My friends and I are organizing a charity gala tonight, and I want you both to attend,” he says, pointing his index finger at the two of us seated at the table. “I think it’s time to let my friends and associates know the Davidson future is safe, and worth their money if they invest in us.” My heart flutters. My chest tightens. I’ve never been to these kinds of things before. I don’t fit into the billionaire world. Not only that, but I’ve always been a contented girl. If not for my father’s insatiable quest for wealth, maybe I’d be on a vacation right now—right next to Barry.

Living with the Five Billionaires

Living with the Five Billionaires

" Vincent and I used to go to Slyvester’s house often." "So, you've known for a long time that he's rich?" As Terban's eyes flickered towards Chaylen, he was met with a blank expression. Though the other residents of the boarding house appeared nonchalant about their new acquaintances, Terban had done some digging and found out that Vincent and Kyle were sons of billionaires and were in elite circles. In contrast, Chaylen was the secret offspring of a conglomerate and seemed indifferent to social status - a highly commendable quality. Despite this, he had unwittingly befriended Vincent, Kyle, and Slyvester without knowing their immense wealth.

Begin Again

Begin Again

The twenty or so men and women crowded around four tables were all heirs and heiresses to successful business empires. Once a month, they met to discuss the latest in the world of business and finance and trade secrets. The tournaments were just an ill-conceived excuse to blow a few million in a couple of hours while enjoying an evening of heavy drinking and drug-fuelled orgies. Liam didn't care much for the tournaments—even though he'd made it to the semi-finals this time—or the heavy drinking and the drug-fuelled orgies. That's why he usually skipped out on these meetings.

Aiza
Almost one of the best. Hence, totally agreed to one of the reviewers chapters leading to the end of the novel less interesting perhaps too much effort in making some catastrophe to the story to put some twist. could have made more effort in making the end not to subtle or too obvious.
Joan Young
Val Sims is one of my favorites. Begin Again is the first of her novels that I read and I loved it so much, I had to read all her other works and I love them also. I hope she continues to write because she tells a good story and her characters are believable.
