Beneath the Sheets
The lights flash, the crowd cheers somewhere behind us, but all I’m aware of is the heat between us, the way the music seems to wrap us tighter together with every beat.
I opened my eyes for a moment and caught sight of Marvin and Sasha nearby.
The contrast is almost comical.
Sasha was glowing, moving effortlessly, hips fluid, arms loose, clearly feeling herself. Marvin, on the other hand, looked like he was fighting the music instead of dancing to it. His movements were so fucking stiff I thought he was going to bust a hip or something.
