He suddenly stopped sipping as well as typing, when he felt the taste of something different.
“The sugar is less…” he looked at Rebecca. The cup in his hand was now resting on the table, the half-curled ring was still hooked around his finger. His gaze was monotonous yet piercing, which made Rebecca gulp in nervousness.

“I’m sorry, Sir. I made it, not Rebecca.” Hazel interrupted her at the same moment, gathering a bit of courage. Her interruption gained Christian’s attention and he looked at her, only to get stopped right there.
