Vines of emerald-violet light, thick as ship’s masts, climbed the air themselves, weaving into a crystalline lattice that stretched upward toward a point in the sky that didn't exist in three dimensions.

The sensation was akin to looking through a crystal, witnessing the vastness beyond the stars. As Severin gazed through the walls and saw the starry expanse, he exclaimed, "Isn't this the Starry Sky Battlespace?" It turned out that the myriad stars within the Starry Sky Battlespace were merely murals on the walls of the ancient temple! It was only then Severin finally realized the incredible power of a celestial being! The countless stars and galaxies in the Starry Sky Battlespace turned out to be nothing more than a mural on the temple wall! How could one not be astonished?

​The Ghost of the Gutter ​Kaelen stood at the forward view-port, his bronze eyes reflecting the distant, hat-shaped glow of the Sombrero Galaxy. ​"My grandmother spent her life fighting for a single planet," Kaelen whispered, his voice echoing in the quiet bridge. "She thought the Gutter was a place in Tokyo. But look at this, Julian. The whole galaxy is being turned into a Gutter. Someone has put a 'Price-Tag' on the universe."

Now, it had expanded to become the spiritual anchor of the entire universe. In the command sanctum of the Starship Aethelgard, which hovered gracefully at the very edge of an uncharted, shadowy galaxy, Commander Jarek stood before the primary observation wall. His fingers drifted over a sleek console made of condensed thought-crystal, his golden eyes reflecting the magnificent silver-gold shimmer of the cosmic grid outside.

There had to be some kind of catch to all of this. "How is that space station able to stay in orbit with the Federation here on the surface, not to mention the imperial warships orbiting the planet?" Mina smiled at her as she sat in the co-pilot chair. "It's cloaked and when it isn't the Federation doesn't have it on their radar. From what I've heard most people believe it's just a huge satellite."

When she opened them, she still looked irritated. ‘How do we find this gate then?’ Joy forced a sweet smile. I pursed my lips and she kneaded her forehead as though she had a blazing headache. ‘You don’t know either.’ And then she perked up like fireworks. ‘Portal. You’re talking about a portal. A portal to another dimension.’ ‘S-Something like that.’ I smiled awkwardly. ‘Think of a person. Anyone who lives there,’ instructed the scientist. ‘But that’s not what Keithen—I mean, Rum—did,’ I protested.

In an instant, five men appeared out of nowhere, pouring gasoline all over the floor. Five bottles of gasoline were poured, nearly covering the entire orphanage. The sharp smell made Shirley's stomach turn. "Wh-what are you doing, Myra?" "Can't you see?" Myra waved a lighter in front of Shirley. "I'm burning this place to ashes. I'm gonna burn you alive! Then I can forget the past and finally become the only daughter of the Bishops!"

“You know,” Nate tells her during the 20-minute morning recess, “the name Everest is very apt for this star section.” Both of them ate breakfast at home so they didn’t feel like going to the canteen. That’s probably the best for crowd control too. For a precious glimpse of Nate a.k.a. Cyber, early Mariteses from either wing of and from the two lower floors of the STEM building ascend to the rear side doorway of 12-Everest. Even Grade-7 students and other junior high grades homeroomed in the poster STEM building have gotten wind of his presence. Nate, after all, is the biggest celebrity this side of the Korean wave.

Patrick patted Ariadne's hand and gently put it in her own lap as he spoke. Orion was analyzing everything he said, could they actually trust him. What about the information he had been feeding them, how was he getting it and why not just come out with it. Ariadne was starting to nod out. She leaned against Patrick ashe tried to respectfully steadied her. He looked at the note that fell from her hand. “The North Star.” The note read. Orion’s face turned to worry, his gut clenched in on itself. Danica’s on that ship. He stood up, his fist clenched at his side as he stared down at Patrick.

Star smirked. “My father was a smart and calculating man, he operated with logic and intellect, unfortunately for Stone, he only knows brute force.” It was no secret amongst them that Star didn’t agree with Stone’s approach so her words didn’t shock them, but she wasn’t in the mood for interrogation, so she walked over to the trap door and pushed it open, peeping through the bushes to the treeline.
