I spat, my words fueled by a mixture of anger and contempt. Lauren simply sighed, shaking his head before bursting into laughter... Looks like he had finally gone mad. Some looked ready to laugh. From above the kitchen cabinets... Liam burst into uncontrollable laughter. "Hahahaha! You fell for it!" Star blinked twice. Water continued dripping from her chin. "...Cold." Liam laughed even harder. "You look like a drowned cat!" Star slowly looked up. "I do?" She squeezed the end of her soaked ponytail. "You're right." Liam waited. Waited... For yelling. For anger. For punishment. Instead... She smiled. "Good thing it's summer. Nice way cooling down for me..."

As if puzzled they again tilted to the right in perfect timing that Luna began to suspect they have only one brain. A moment after, the two faced each other and as if in agreement, opened their mouth wide to make an unnatural and forced sound. "Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha...!" It took a while for Luna to understand that they were trying to... laugh? Luna wince, she had goosebumps all over her body. However, Finch and Dustin continued the horrible sound. Seemingly unsatisfied with their performance, they begun to move their shoulders up and down imitating someone having a fit of laughter.

I had hoped that someday, someone would speak for me, but I never imagined that person would be Autumn. From the speaker came my cries, Franklin’s laughter, and the shouting of those monsters. It echoed through the entire venue. Even though I was already dead, hearing it made my soul tremble. The Cordons collapsed to the floor. They were still shouting, "No! This can’t be real!" However, no one believed them anymore. Autumn slammed the diary shut. Tears streamed down her cheeks. She looked straight at Franklin and said coldly, "This wedding is off." The entire venue went silent for a second, and then erupted into thunderous applause and cheers.

"Our bond is unbreakable, a sacred trust that you could never hope to understand." Ava threw her head back and laughed, the sound echoing off the chamber walls. "Oh, Kane, you underestimate me," she chided, her voice dripping with condescension. "I've spent years studying the intricacies of the Starfire, unlocking its secrets one by one. Then I heard a chorus of laughter behind the rock I was hiding at. Minions was good word to describe them, the little pip squeak chirp of laughter was exactly what they sounded like.

It would hurt to know your only parent was embarrassed of you regardless of whether it was your fault or not that you were a hybrid. “You are lying!” Sarah screams tossing a ball of fire Lana’s way. Just before it hits Lana it fizzles out. “Missed me,” Lana says as she laughs once again at Sarah. Sarah tosses her fire balls again and again and again. Each one fizzles out just like the one before. As Sarah exhausts her anger tears form in her eyes.

I blink at her like she’s speaking in tongues. Then I start laughing. One of those belly-born cackles that starts deep inside your stomach — usually right in the middle of a church service — and you’re not sure what exactly is so funny, but you just can’t stop. The kind that always ends in tears, a weird hiccup, or — heaven forbid — a fart. Some of the staff start laughing at me … definitely not with me. My laughter fades into some hiccup snickers. I focus on Sky’s face.
