I then turned to my driver and motioned for him to wait and he nodded. I walked past the other guards who stood at the gate and they all nodded as I passed by them. I entered into the gate and I let out a gasp. The whole place was built with silver and it glinted against the harsh rays of the sun, almost blinding me. That was why they wore black masks. So that it could deflect the rays of the sun shining off from silvers from entering their eyes.

Its rounded frame dominated the space between two staircases. Hovering just above where they converged, their steps sloped onto the glossy black marble floor. Where, candles and glowing crystals cast a wavering light on its polished surface.
