Artemis White's POV "Today, we start from zero", Herrington said. He removed his jacket, revealing a short-sleeved shirt and arms covered in faded campaign tattoos. His skin was a story of every time he was deployed. Every battle, every comrade gained and lost. I could feel admiration and respect welling within me, more than I already had for him. "We build the body before we teach it how to fight", he explained. I listened carefully, nodding when he looked at me with eyes that asked if I was listening.

**Shawn's POV** I’ve heard enough. I drag a hand over my face, exhaling hard. Of all the shit I dealt with tonight, of course it has to come to this... I hate taking my shirt off in front of crowds... I hate the eyes, the gawking, and the way people stare like they’re entitled to look at me. But leaving her half-naked on a stage full of sex starved rogues isn’t an option. With a low curse, I grab the hem of my shirt and yank it over my head in one rough motion.

I get the tablet from Tasha and thanked her. “Let me introduce you first to our team members, come here” I rose from my feet and followed Tasha. This area is so huge, the environment is so elegant. The furniture and everything in it are well designed. Tasha introduced me to the team members. I told them that my name is Lei which is my middle name, and I am just a normal person. With this disguised outfit of mine, they would never recognize me. Only Mr. Harrington knows my true identity.

All of us contestants had to stand side by side in a row while Alpha Zain addressed us. The man remained shirtless leaving each muscle on his ripped body and his toned six-pack on full display. It didn't take that long for the image to take me back to that night with the alpha, but the reality of our impending challenge, stubborn as it was, found its way to the forefront of my mind.

I watched as he brought out more cans, and I brought out my phone. “Do you need a picture?” “I know what a parrot looks like, Leah. I can handle this.” I watched as he brought out a pencil. He dropped it on the tablet and took a step back. To my surprise, he began to undo his buttons. I watched as he slipped his shirt off. He was in a white vest. His muscles bulged, and I watched as his abs drew lines on his singlet. His head was bent down, and his untied hair covered his face. Oh. My. God.

I check to see some more photos and I turn white. His post shows a photo during the game when he was lifting his team shirt to show Happy Birthday Selena on his jersey... And the caption: "You deserve nothing but the best". Why would he do that? He can only be testing me. He isn't looking at the camera but he is too beautiful. I like the photo but don’t comment.
