James at seventeen was already running his company from our house, having turned his ethics rating app into a full business with employees and everything.
"This is weird," I told Adrian, watching James take a video call with investors. "Our teenager has employees."
"Our teenager has a net worth higher than ours was at thirty," Adrian corrected. "It's very weird."
But James stayed grounded despite the success, still doing his homework and helping with dishes, and I was grateful for that at least.
