He is a bit taller than Aeon, though a lot thinner in frame. A thin splatter of freckles dotted across his tanned face, making him look younger than he is. Permanent baby face syndrome. Something the Partials hadn’t noticed before was a necklace with a silver colored ring on it. “We both do. Same question, we’re both just curious about it.” Elexa spoke up too, nodding her head in agreement.

Steve said. “I told you already, you did a great job, didn’t I?” Alex said. “I think you’re wrong sir, I still make a lot of mistakes, I’ve only been here for a year and—“ “Is that your decision?” Alex said. “I’m sorry sir,” Steve said. “What’s your name?” Alex said. “Steven McConnell sir,” Steve said. “Steven, or Steve, you worked in this company for a year, but strangely I found oddities in the expense data for more than a year,” Alex said.

He wanted them to be, not considering the media or the dignitaries. Ariel followed behind. Steve was still bleeding and being dragged like a bag of potatoes. They got to the main event. The sight of the bleeding Steve on the ground devastated Ariel and angered Xavier, who said almost everything. A second beat up started. Kelvin tried to hold Xavier back before he killed Steve. He kept repeating his words. "Don't you ever lay your hand on my wife." Soon the police came to relieve Steve from the pain and torture. They came a little bit late, Steve was already halfway to heaven. Heaven? No hell.

My knees almost gave up when I met Noah's glares. He's standing behind Steve and he's with Thalia, who's looking at me angrily. I tugged Steve's arm. He looked down at me and smiled before looking at the man, who's still checking me out. "We'll just sit over there, man. My fiancée's feet might hurt. Nice meeting you."

“I don’t think I need any more members.” The words landed like a slap. Xander, mid-sipping water coughed violently and nearly choked on his water. The class let out a chorus of awkward sounds, gasps, and stifled laughs, even a few low whistles. Only Miguel was capable of talking to Steve like that. Not even teachers dared. Steve sat frozen, his blank expression not quite hiding the tightening clench in his jaw. His stare cut straight into Miguel, like a knife waiting to be drawn. Miguel only smiled back, sweetly, innocently and mockingly. And somehow, that made Steve’s fists twitch by his sides. For a second, he looked as if he might actually lunge across the desks and punch the smug cutenes

Xavier looked up, his sharp gaze meeting his manager, Steve, who stepped inside. “Come in,” Xavier said, motioning for him to take a seat. Steve closed the door quietly and sat across from him, his expression serious. There was tension in the air—a heaviness that only came with the revelation of secrets. “Sir,” Steve began, his tone measured but firm, “I’ve been looking into Lady Leila’s background, and I’ve uncovered a few things.” Xavier straightened in his chair, his interest immediately piqued. “Go on,” he urged, his tone calm but expectant.

Steve arrived at exactly eleven minutes after the call. ‘Mmmfgghhh…mmmfgghh’ The muffled sound of a person crying for help echoed in the empty room. ‘B-boss…I’m h-here’ Steve says,his stuttering voice striken with fear. He could bearly breathe,be it the smoke in the room,the bloody and old smell of the room or the oppressive aura jake emits Steve finds it difficult to stay calm as he shakes all over and struggles for breath.

I remember what I said about a minute ago and cringed terribly, I can't believe I just told my Stepbrother I have never had sex in my entire life and all he did was look calm with a smiling face. "This can't be happening!" I mumbled then slapped my head forehead so hard that I am sure my face would look red. Slowly I stared at Xavier, I didn't want him to know I was looking so I made sure to be extremely slow. I noticed he wasn't even looking in my direction and had his back towards me. The metal base of the barstool clinks sharply against the floor as my Head Beta settles onto it, gesturing impatiently to the bartender for a drink. I take a slow sip of my beer, the heavy bitterness lingering on my tongue. “Nothing much,” I answer tautly, my eyes screening the rowdy barroom for the umpteenth time to see if I can locate Kael, the doctor’s son. Steve lets out a loud laugh. “I’ve known you since you were a baby, Xavier. Trust me, I know your exact taste in women.” I lift the cold glass to my lips again, swallowing down more bitterness as I try my best to keep myself from venting about how incredibly rude and uncouth Dr. Winter truly is.

“You’re thinking too much, Xandro.” I snapped back to reality hearing Steven’s voice. He's my partner in the syndicate. He had just arrived, sat himself straight on my mahogany desk, poured whiskey into a glass, and drank it casually. “What the hell are you doing here? Won’t your wife come looking for you?” I asked flatly, without energy. “Let her be. I’ve stopped caring long ago. I’m happier with the women I keep company with anyway. But back to you.... what are you doing here brooding? I thought you’d be busy with firearms imports and the new captives,” he shot back.
