Poisonous Love (Serial Killer/Stockholm Syndrome Romance)

Poisonous Love (Serial Killer/Stockholm Syndrome Romance)

All I could do was just lay there and try and figure out how the hell we will get out of this mess, anything else was just… unthinkable… A little while later, the vehicle we were riding in came to a stop, after a painfully bumpy ride that without a doubt would leave a lot of bruises, and the door slid open again. The men just continued to casually talk and laugh together as if nothing was wrong as if they hadn’t just kidnapped two women off the street! …which only scared me more… Was this something they did often? They were so calm and collected, this definitely wasn’t their first time, and then I heard them comment on us again;

Mr. Ford Is Jealous

Mr. Ford Is Jealous

“Don’t lie to me again.” Stella hugged his waist and tilted her head slightly, and that was when she caught a glimpse of the information about Stockholm syndrome on his laptop screen. Stella straightened and sat up immediately. “What are you reading?” Weston moved his hand and quietly closed his laptop. “It’s nothing.” “Show me!” Stella insisted. She opened the laptop and glanced through the information quickly. It wasn’t a deep and hard-to-understand condition, and she quickly understood what was happening. After reading it, Stella gradually rose to anger and showed it on her face. “Weston. Do you think I’m sick?”

Although am glad since it is a happy ending, i still thought that the ending is so abrupt. It is not the usual ending of a love story with so many unresolved issues. It was cut short all of a sudden. I hope there will be a 2nd book detailing their life together as a family.

The ending is unbelievably incomplete!its not the best ending as i want to see them family life together.with a wedding and the others also. What about xavier and zeta. Then henry and angelina! Hmm so many unnecessary chapters! But at least weston won in the end. Stella is very cruel compares to wes

Stockholm Syndrome: His Prisoner

Stockholm Syndrome: His Prisoner

I cocked my head in anger. “She, is right here and she isn’t some 12th century slave. What is your problem? Both of you?” They both looked unfazed by my outburst and it made me wonder just how many people they’d held prisoner. Maybe I needed to be gentler in making my requests, seeing as they were the one’s paying for it. “I came here with nothing but the clothes I was taken in and the flipflops you removed from Fibonacci…” I mentally shivered at the thought, I still had nightmares about it.

Her Stalker

Her Stalker

I grab a sweatshirt and put it on her, covering her trembling body, then pull her into my arms for a brief hug before throwing her over my shoulder and carrying her out of the room. | Harley | I haven't been able to stop my body from shaking since I learned Callum took me for ransom, but since I found out everything else, it's been worse. Even as I sit in the passenger seat of some car Brixton stole, my body shakes like I'm having a seizure, and I can't get it to stop. He won't tell me where we're going, but as I take the route he's driving, I already know. The place Callum took me...

This book was a great read! Did have a bit of a slow start it seemed but it kept me intrigued. My only complaint was the female lead was very indecisive to the point where I wasn’t sure if the author made a mistake but all in all great read, good ending.
GIFT TEEY
Mafia stories often feature weak or fierce female leads, usually the former. But I love that this story gives us a truly fierce FL! Aria is incredible, and the chemistry between her and Pietro is undeniable. A brilliantly written story!

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

"Do you think a farmer saves his prize horse because he loves it? He saves it because it pulls the plow! They are Lycans, Neoma. They are slavers. They don't know how to love anything they don't own." He released my hand as if it burned him. He stepped back. His eyes cold and hard. "You're suffering from Stockholm Syndrome," he decided. His voice flat. "They broke your mind. But that's okay. I'll fix it. Once they're dead, you'll remember who you are." He raised his free hand. Around the perimeter of the courtyard, shadows moved on the rooftops. Laser sights flickered to life—dozens of red dots dancing through the smoke like angry fireflies.

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

“As much as I know, Boss cherished you so much. I don’t think a lot of scientists have met you personally. Although, I heard that Caramel used to be your personal scientist or whatnot.” “Yeah.” “So it’s true.” A Stockholm syndrome, he gulped shallowly. “Correct. I have a fucking Stockholm syndrome. I loved my abuser and adored him too fucking much.” Hades blew out the hot air from his mouth. It wasn’t his intention to mock Shadow’s mental health. Living in a chaotic life, he knew that as much. Their mental state could deteriorate to the lowest level and such syndromes were bound to appear. The heavy atmosphere struck between them. Both of them were thinking about the past and both of them ha

Our birth date means the birth of our love and the death date is the day he died because I want to remember the pain that He caused me and I believe that all pains had an end that is why I include the death date. Now that I love Rum and I know it is for real because I cannot leave without him and I know that he feels the same too. Going back to the time that he showed me the videos that crushed my heart into pieces. That almost killed me and when he removed his mask and looked at me. His eyes are telling me to hope that gives me the courage not to give up. I read a book about Stockholm syndrome in which the kidnap victim will fall in love with the kidnapper. I don’t think that it happened to

The Rogue’s Little Plaything

We were all taken from packs that didn't even attack him. “Well, that's just him expanding his territory, increasing the numbers of his maids, and putting his fear in people’s hearts because if he doesn't do that, they'll still be foolish enough to try to attack him.” The girl chuckled, a mirthless and dark one, “seems to me that you have Stockholm Syndrome for the man that stole you away from your family and is holding you captive against your will,” she said it with so much bitterness and vengeance that it surprised me. For someone so timid, someone so quiet, the intensity of her anger was overwhelming and alarming and it seemed so much like her hatred for the Alpha runs deeper than normal

She squeezed but didn’t stop talking. “And I was lucky enough to be rescued a few days later by Killian Ricci.” “Rescued?” Natalia scoffed. “I think you mean kidnapped again.” I squeezed Sera’s hand tighter. Sera shook her head calmly. “No, I mean rescued. I just didn’t know that right away.” Natalia covered her mouth and coughed, “Stockholm Syndrome.” Maybe we could just send Natalia home before Lyle got me the transaction list. I doubted anybody in her family would be stupid enough to think somebody would actually want her enough to repay debts.

A top rates book for its goodness in writing mafia book, lol, I thought my mafia book.idea will be great but after reading this, it's a mess compared to this. I have a lot of work to do, but kudos to author, she tried.

The transition from enemies to lovers was smooth and convincing- The author did an excellent job guiding their reader through from start to finish. And the romance!? HOT ...... This book deserves a lot more publicity.
