(POV: Lina) Mmm, that smells so good, my mouth waters and something inside me comes alive. Sensing the smell, I open my eyes, and my stomach twists, causing me pain, followed by a loud growl. "Looks like someone here hasn't eaten in a long time," he says with an almost invisible smile on his lips.

I closed my eyes and lay still for a few minutes when something strange happened. My stomach growled, causing me to open my eyes. I frowned. I had eaten dinner only a few hours ago. I ignored it and closed my eyes again. Then it happened again. It was louder this time. I sat up and glared at my stomach. "What is wrong with you?" My stomach answered with another growl. I sighed and looked at the clock. It was almost midnight. I didn't have anything in the room except a bottle of water and some crackers.

"Let's go. I am sure you are starving." "You don't even know how much." "I heard your stomach growling while you were touching my hand, so I do," He says, pressing the start button to switch on the car. "My stomach did not growl" I can't believe he heard it. While I was rubbing his hand, my belly was growling, but it was not loud, so I didn't think he heard it. "Sweetheart, there is nothing to be ashamed of. It's normal for someone's stomach to growl when they are hungry," He says, driving out of the parking lot.

Suddenly, a jolt of pain slices through my midsection and I bend forward in pain. And as if I’m not embarrassed enough, my stomach grumbles, filling the tense silence between us with a loud groan. Oh no.

His voice sounded like that of a kid that just discovered the candy store for the first time. I smiled. "It feels like it happened overnight. Like I just woke up one day and boom, my stomach has gotten this big." I said. I am pretty sure I would have been asking myself the same question if not for the fact that I took pictures of my stomach every morning, from different angles.

The image of the macaroni soup disgusted me despite the fact that I usually ate some before. I decided to stand up and open the medicine box to check for a tablet I can take. It’s maybe because I overeat last night that is why I feel like throwing up and my stomach is growling. After I took the medicine, I decided to just ignore the foods on top of the table and went back upstairs. I feel like drinking avocado shake and a carbonara with perilla leaves. The image of the food I crave flashes inside my mind which causes for my stomach to growl at the moment.

I replied and my stomach can't stand our conversation and it made a strike. "Gloo" I wanted to dig a hole and buried myself in it because it is so embarrassing when your stomach growl when it shouldn't make a sound. He chuckled and said, "Well stop arguing. Let's have dinner. Even your stomach can't stand your stubbornness." When we reached the kitchen I saw a lot of dishes on the table. I asked him " Why there is so many dishes? Aren't we being the only two people who are going to eat?" "No it's only me and a little pig that I need to feed who snatched my burger today although this pig is so weak that he can't beat the basketball with force." *Growl* Unfortunately, my stomach was not something I could control easily. My stomach continued to declare its emptiness with an embarrassingly loud growl, and I began to feel the heat in my belly as it demanded to be fed. Finally, with shyness, I attacked the food in the box. I opened it, taking back the large sausage that I had initially decided not to eat. In silence, I savored every dish Jesse had given me. In this horse-drawn carriage, there were only the two of us as the sole existence. No matter how hard I tried to muffle the sounds, the noise of my mouth chewing still resounded in the air.

"Mr. Glenn Miller." Hearing my name, I took a deep breath and walked into the consultation room. The white-haired and bespectacled gastroenterologist, Austin Hickman, carefully inquired about my symptoms, diet, and work stress. "I've had irregular eating habits and high stress for a long time. On top of that, a family member has been making so-called stomach-nourishing soups with heavily spiced ingredients." Dr. Hickman adjusted his glasses, frowning slightly. "What exactly did they add?"

He growled *Really?* I moved to the right end of the room beside the door and stood still. As soon as he started eating, my stomach began grumbling. It was then I realized that I was really hungry. I bowed my head trying to control my stomach from growling so loud. After standing there like forever he finally finished eating and I carried the plates back to the kitchen.
