Loved this book! Wonderful suspense not knowing which way things were turning at times. Only thing I didn't like at times were the POV chapters you pay for that repeated everything from the previous chapter with a couple added thoughts, but some chapters being below the normal price made up for it.

This is truly one of the greatest stories. No gratuitous sex scenes which is s fantastic thing. You are getting to know the characters and their is a plot. You have even left things open to continue on to another book! I hope this continues!

The Werewolf's Superiority

The Werewolf's Superiority

She points to the two boxes on the table and says; "You can take those two boxes as well." I grab them and start running down the hill. She stands there in amazement while not moving as her eyes are focused on me. Once I am at the main house, I quickly gather the people and say; "Storm is going to hit. Please ensure that everyone is ready to take cover." They look at me like I am craze. I walk to Dr. Addison's room and put the boxes down. I quickly run back up the hill to her again. She asks in amazement;

Shadow Wolves

Shadow Wolves

Being outside was in their nature even if they weren't able to shift because they were low ranking. The sight of the large black box with white ribbon made Chloe's blood run cold. She didn't need to approach it and read the small card with it to know who it was from and yet she forced her feet to move towards her bed, bringing her closer and closer to the box. Her heart fluttered in her chest like moths trapped in a jar, a cold sweat seeming to replace the hot sticky one from exercise. Nestled under the white ribbon was a simple white card, her name neatly printed on the front. Swallowing against the lump in her throat, Chloe picked up the card with trembling fingers, unfolding the smooth ma

But her tenacious will and bravery made his eyes tear. Long Tian blinked rapidly and squeezed a little further in to lift the hood. It was a painful and agonizing process as the hood was scorching hot and heavy. Still, he gritted his teeth and kept on pushing, willing the da** metal to move because the girl that had endured immense pain laid there, waiting for his rescue.

Love in the Storm

Love in the Storm

“I’ve booked the restaurant for tonight, We will need to leave in just over an hour.” “Then I think it’s time to hit the shower and get ready for a magical evening with you,” I smiled at him. He nods and goes back to looking at his phone. I don’t know what I have done wrong. Maybe he’s going to let me go or tell me that he can’t protect me from Jaime. So many things ran through my head and of course, they were mostly worst-case scenarios. I needed to stop thinking like this. Taking a deep breath, I finish my shower, wrap a towel around me and head out into the bedroom to find gift boxes on the bed. I couldn’t remember seeing them there when I came in. I opened the first one to find a stunnin

When the Storm Ends, Life Begins Again

When the Storm Ends, Life Begins Again

“Miles, can you stop overreacting? Do you really think Ash would ever hurt me?” Wynnie’s impatient low growl pulled me back from the shock of my second life. The commotion caught the attention of the rest of our team. “Ms. Lynn, it looks like that electronic watch on your wrist didn’t get reported?” An observant teammate pointed out, noticing the brand-new watch on Wynnie’s wrist. Wynnie frowned and answered, “That’s a personal gift I received. There’s no need to report it.”

The Calm After the Storm

The Calm After the Storm

The fire got bigger, catching the curtains and a wooden box, and smoke poured outside. I just stood there, my face hot from the blaze around me and tears in my eyes from the smoke. Walter called me out of the blue. I did not pick up. Matthias called right after. I ignored him too. I was about to block their numbers when Walter sent me a message on Messenger. [Emma, remember that Anna is your sister no matter what.] [I really hope you can be happy for her during the big moments in her life. She wants your blessing too.]
