A Heart Eclipsed by Shadows

A Heart Eclipsed by Shadows

But now, he'd given it to Lylith—the one thing Lorrie cherished more than anything. Lorrie trembled with fury. Every instinct screamed at her to storm inside and snatch her protective charm back, but hushed voices behind her stopped her cold. "This is the second time Ms. Fowler's gotten hurt for Mr. Bassett, isn't it? Ten years back, when the store he worked at went up in flames, she heard him shouting for help and ran straight in to save him without a second thought." "She suffered terrible burns, but never once complained." "No wonder Mr. Bassett's still hung up on her. Where else would he find someone willing to die for him?"

She was going to live through this, she had to be strong; it wasn't the end of the world. Najmah's heart was breaking but wasn't that what she had fervently prayed for? To love so deep that she wouldn't be able to breath when that love was taken away from her, to feel the intense pain of a heartbreak. And right then, she wished she had never asked for such emotions; love was as intoxicating as it was suffocating and heartbreak, heartbreak was an emotional phase she would never want her enemy to go through. Was this how Afet felt when Aslan left her? The irony of their situation; he left Afet for her and now, he has left her too.

I have neve read BL before but when seeing your name on it, I think I wanna give it a shot. So far from the read, I quite like it. I think I may enjoy it. I am a loyal fan of your books. They are great. I am stuck on another novel of yours on another platform but seeing the new story I rushed back.

this story has given me some crackup moments so far that's for reals lol. At first it was kinda hard for me to continue reading, but now I want to know the outcome/end game. Please don't drag it out too much writer, was kind of hard with a few repeated chapters to keep the story line.

Dangerous Heartbeats

Dangerous Heartbeats

I don't think I'd ever get the opportunity to have him this close to me if he ever found out what I was up to. "You look pretty, Skylar," For the first time in weeks, he said my name, and it hit a spot it shouldn't have. I felt my heartbeat pick up an unusually fast pace as we stared into each other's eyes. Why was my heart beating this way? These were dangerous heartbeats. I shouldn't be loving Alfredo Miller again, but here I was, totally smitten by him. I forced myself to believe that I didn't love him because I was mad at him, but the truth was I never stopped loving him. All those years, it was there somewhere hidden in my heart, waiting for the right time to sprout again.

Healing The Damaged Alpha

Healing The Damaged Alpha

Esme's POV 'It was indeed a marvelous thing, the girl who he had despised, Scartia managed to melt the icy heart of the prince. Their love was able to make it through the test of time and they lived happily ever after……' I closed the book forcefully and tossed it to the side. It feels like I'm being mocked right now. The book I had just read, Fate's Design was certainly one of a kind. It felt like a practical joke. The story of an ordinary but mistreated girl, Scartia and an ice hearted prince with a dark past. It was very similar to my situation with Ethan, only that our story seems to be a lot more complicated with no solution in sight.

The Revenge Of The Billionaire Ex Wife

The Revenge Of The Billionaire Ex Wife

"And you… you stood there, Racheal. You watched what you thought was me… fading away, giving my last breath. But guess what?" "I still had a heartbeat, mi amore. Faint, so faint it was barely there. Like the last flicker of a candle about to be snuffed out. Something you couldn’t even hear." The color drained from Racheal's face, and she staggered slightly, a trembling hand covering her mouth. Her breath caught in her throat as she processed his words. "You… you weren’t…" Damian’s gaze softened as he took a deep, shuddering breath. "When the police came, they took Victor… but I was still clinging on. And what better way to make him pay for his crime, Racheal, than to give me his heart?"

The Heart That He Stole

As long as you forgive me, I'll do anything. "Emma, I truly understand my mistake now. Your mother cannot come back, and I am sorry for what happened to her. No one could escape what they had done. I seized Ryan's chin and struck him hard across the face. "Ryan, you shattered my life, and you still think you can just walk away? Frequently Asked Questions

I recently finished 'Heartbroken' and wow, it’s one of those stories that lingers long after the last page. The novel follows Emily, a woman who returns to her childhood lakeside cabin after a devastating breakup, hoping to find solace. Instead, she stumbles upon old letters hidden in the attic—letters that reveal her grandmother’s secret wartime romance. The narrative flips between Emily’s present-day struggles and her grandmother’s past, weaving themes of love, sacrifice, and the parallels between their lives. What really got me was how the author uses the setting—the lake, the storms—almost like a character itself, mirroring the emotional turbulence. The ending? Bittersweet but perfect, tying their stories together in a way that feels earned, not forced.

What I loved most was how relatable Emily’s journey felt. Her anger, her numbness, the way she slowly pieces herself back together—it’s messy and real. The grandmother’s letters add this layer of historical depth, showing how heartbreak isn’t confined to one era. There’s a scene where Emily throws her engagement ring into the lake, only to immediately regret it, and that moment of raw impulsiveness stuck with me. The book doesn’t offer easy answers, just like life, and that’s its strength.
