Lacey angrily moves over to the chipped green door, her stomping steps pounding out a tempo in the silence of the room, and she pulls the door open with unneccesary force, letting the frigid cold air into the room as it rushes past her. The blast of cold takes her breath but it does not manage to cool down her white hot anger that is balzing like a wild inferno inside of her.

How are you supposed to travel?" Just then, Umbra arrived, bringing along a massive beast. It was one of the Windrunners' beasts. It could summon violent winds, its entire body pitch-black and its head shaped like a bald eagle's. Its full name was Black Gape Raptor. Most simply called it Black Raptor. Orabella frowned. "You captured a Black Raptor? The Windrunners won't let this slide."

I stood up and desperately tried to break open the bedroom door. However, it was to no avail. A sharp pain in my abdomen was what ultimately brought me back to my senses. When I looked down, my pale blue nightgown was stained with fresh blood. The baby! I clutched my stomach and immediately dialed the emergency services.
