I simply forgot about it and I started writing the first draft of Nivia's story and went to read the end to make sure it matched whatever I wrote last year. hope this clarifies things. and yes, Kyra was alive in the chapter. but since Eli named his daughter Kyra, we can pretend its her and not reveal that I sometimes forget my own story......
