Trained Not To Love You

Trained Not To Love You

“You three, on the other hand, have something to lose. You’re already involved—deeply involved—and that makes you trustworthy in a way others can’t be. That’s why I believe I can put my faith in you.” I knew what he was getting at. Trust in this world wasn’t built on loyalty or duty—it was built on desperation, on shared risks and consequences. We were in the thick of it, and if we failed, we’d lose everything. Knowing that we had as much at stake as he did was his guarantee. I exchanged a glance with Erin and Joseph, and it was clear that they understood it too. Frederick had a mission for us. The question now was whether we were willing to take it on.

Karima, I am sitting here trying to read your mind on what it’s about to happen with Ronan and his situation. You are blowing my mind with this little bombshell your writing. Can’t wait for the next chapters. Getting more and more excited about this one..

Exceptional writing by a brilliant storyteller. I love all of Karima’s books. The plot twists, the intrigue, the characters are complex and interesting!! She’s one of my top 5 writers alongside Moonlight Muse, Cassandra M, Cooper & Alle.

When Misplaced Trust Leads to Ruin

When Misplaced Trust Leads to Ruin

Dan took the business card, glanced at my title, and immediately grabbed my hands with both of his. "I knew you could make it! That company only functioned because of you! When we terminated the contract back then, I actually felt quite sorry. But you know, Martin's just too unreliable. "Now that you're handling tech at Cloudwave, we absolutely have to work together again! I've got a 200-million-dollar deal sitting in my hands, but I couldn't find any provider I trust. But as long as you're in charge, Ms. Chapman, I'll gladly sign with Cloudwave."

Being Yours

Being Yours

He’d not only survived, he’d forced his way to the top once more. Somehow, though, this mysterious, intriguing woman had come close to nailing him. She was right that he didn’t trust anyone. Not any more. He’d been blind-sided by that particular lesson, but he’d learned it well. He wouldn’t need a repeat test, because if he knew nothing else in life, he knew that trust was a lie. A bold, smiling lie that stroked your ego with one hand while stabbing you in the back with the other.

him. "Brother, should I tell you a funny story?" I asked back instead of answering his question. "Well, it might be a little sad too." "Sure," he nodded. I turned to him and asked again. "But, can you promise me that you won't ask anything and just listen?" "Yes," he answered solemnly. I asked myself. Was it okay to open up a little? Was it okay to trust him? But here's the thing about survival. You don't trust people because they're trustworthy. You trust them because there's nothing else to lean on.

His Regret: Her Rebirth

His Regret: Her Rebirth

That sounded like a plan to me. ENDING SCENE XENIA’S POV They could take the seal. The title. The chair. But they couldn’t take the trust people had already given. And trust, once it starts moving, doesn’t need permission to grow.

The Rise Of The White Luna

The Rise Of The White Luna

She asked with a very mean and rude tone and a wicked expression on her face. The man had already started sensing our skepticism and he explained, “Sir, we had heard stories of the beauty and magnificence of this place so we just followed an old path. We didn’t realize that it was encroaching into your territory, please don’t be annoyed.” I looked at Marcus and Lena and they all stared back at me . Trust was not just something that we could afford to give out so freely and easily, especially with the history and greatness of our lands and kindred.

Her CEO is My Husband

Her CEO is My Husband

“Hello, today is the realize day of my brother. Could you please bring the paperwork?” Third person POV " A beautiful oath. Trust is an important foundation in any relationship. It takes courage and vulnerability to give yourself the chance to believe in someone, to invest in a relationship, and to trust. But it's worth it when you find someone who is deserving of that trust and who reciprocates it. Wish everyone all the best in building a strong and trusting relationship with their favorite person ."

he asked, his voice a bit desperate for understanding. I exhaled heavily, my breath carrying the weight of the moment "I won't lie, Savaş, there were moments when I doubted you completely" I confessed "But...there's a part of me, something deep within, that tells me I can trust you. And trust, although a difficult concept for me to grasp after George, was described to me by a dear friend as a gift not to be declined"

However, I knew there was nothing to hide. “You’re not lying,” he said slowly. “Why would I lie about it?” His jaw tensed again, though this time it was driven by something else—perhaps wonder. “You’re really…” he began, “innocent.” A bemused smile tugged at my lips. “What does that mean?” “It means you’re prone to trusting people,” he replied. “And trusting people makes you prone to getting hurt and exploited.” I crossed my arms over my chest. “Trust is the foundation of life. Without it, love and happiness would cease to exist.”

Unique story line, well written and very intriguing. Far better than a lot of other stories on here. I love a strong heroine, I love her even more considering she has managed to become a person who note only can stand up for herself and others but also isn’t afraid to accept help.

Does anyone know if this story has a reverse harem? I’m not into that and it doesn’t have the tag in the description but it’s so many guys pinning for her attention that I would y be surprised if it goes that route later. I’m assuming the story isn’t far along enough for anyone to know tho

He Came Back Running

He Came Back Running

"Something that works at the level where they are actually vulnerable." "Which is," I said. "Trust," he said. "What they have is built on it. Everything they've survived.... the investigation, the scandal, the wedding, the hospital, they've survived it because they trust each other. Completely. In the specific way that people trust each other when they've been tested enough times that the testing itself has become evidence." He looked at me. "That's the vulnerability. Not Alex's body. Not Maya's reputation. The trust between them."
