Sky POV I wasn’t an early fairy. Never. My time was midnight, not evening nor dusk. Nonetheless, I was awakened by a loud banging at my door, while it was still light outside. Gods, just let me sleep! “I hate you whoever you are!!” I yelled covering my ears with pillows. “L-Lord Langbroek requested your p-presence in the training room.” a nervous voice broke through the barrier over my ears. *Growl* Can’t he let me rest one night?

“Send me the list. I’ll check.” “Good girl,” he said gently. “Love you.” “Love you too.” The call ended. And just like that— The silence returned. Louder than before. I changed into my shorts and loose crop top, pulling my hair into a messy bun. I lay down for a moment— But sleep refused to come. Because my mind— Wouldn’t stop. “Listen, I think it’s going to rain tonight. Look outside—it’s so romantic,” Amilia’s voice broke through.

As I wondered who had set them off, a message from Amy popped up. "Carla, aren't they beautiful? Johnny set off all those fireworks for me. If you know what those fireworks mean, you'd better step aside and give up your title as Luna." I smiled. "You can keep Johnny, but the Luna title stays with me." Right after I sent that, Johnny connected with me through our mind-link, his roar giving me a headache. "Carla! What are you doing?! Amy's been crying ever since she texted you! Do you still want to remain as Luna? If you can't do the work, I'll find someone else who can!"

Why does she feel like a stranger when she stares at the busy street of Athens, she wants to be like one of them and without learning their language, she will never be one of them. Lucky her, Hussain did try to teach her but damn, the language was not as easy as she thought it will be. She could only get the basic things like please and thank you. "What are you thinking about my love?" Hussain asked kissing the crock of her neck. That was her weak point and he knew it but he decided to be using it against her.

ELI'S POV The moon hung high over the bedroom, it cast a silvery glow that seemed to wrap around the crib. I sat in the chair, while I hum softly. "Sleep, my little stars," I whispered, the melody of an old lullaby flowing from my throat, a song my mother used to sing to me before the world turned cold. "The night is long, but you are strong."

But his eyes still held their beauty and his soft gaze made her tremble, nearly causing her to drop the spoon. "Sing me a lullaby," he said suddenly, causing her to jump. She hadn’t realized that she’d been staring. "What?" "A lullaby," he repeated. "Sing one to me. Perhaps it’ll lessen the pain of the fever." "That's weird, I had no idea lullabies lessen the pain of a fever," she began. "Besides, I don’t know how to sing," Zeenah added. "Not even for your husband?" "I thought that was just a title."

"You always know how to calm me down..." Lucius winked, his fingers dancing on the strings. "Music has a way of reaching places words can't." As the melody continued, Lucius started to sing a lullaby, his voice a gentle caress in the quiet room. The lyrics, a mix of sweet promises and reassurances, wrapped around Layla like a tender embrace. "Close your eyes, my love, let go of the day, In the arms of the night, worries fade away. Stars above are watching, they'll keep you safe and sound, Dreams are waiting, a world to be found."

My voice was low and sweet as I sang the lullaby my mother used to hum to me when I was small. 🎵 “Stars above, light the sky, Little love, don’t you cry... Dreams will come, dreams will stay, Mommy’s here to keep fears away.” 🎵 Kael gurgled in my arms. His little hand kept twitching as if he were trying to mimic the rhythm. Lyra reached up and tugged softly at my nose, then giggled. I laughed. Just then, the door opened. I looked up and there stood Sophia, carrying a stuffed lamb with a little bell around its neck.

Kael listened, his eyes closed, a faint smile on his face. “The stones are listening,” he murmured. “They like her song.”
