SARAH'S POV I sat there in the cold dark alley for quite a while and not even a rat passed by, I was starting to get scared when I heard faint laughter, more like a chuckle from afar. The sound became louder and clearer. It was no longer just the sound of laughter, I could now hear footsteps approaching. The closer they came the clearer their voices, they sound like nice people, I should probably ask them for help. What will I say though, I can't possibly tell them that I'm a vampire princess who came here through a porthole and woke up, then blacked out, then woke up again in a place where I was stabbed with needles and driven away by the smell of blood and somehow ended up here with no one

She asked, with blood streaming down her eyes. Shit. Of course, we were supposed to be friends, not until I considered her my enemy before leaving. I looked at the tatteredness of my friend. Life was going away and death was coming closer. Her words twisted deep into my flesh, actually the first time a semi-human voice pierced my heart. Plus, female vampires can’t give birth, it’s impossible. So I can’t be born a vampire” “So you were turned into one? How?” “I was bitten” “And where is this vampire who bit you?” “He’s dead.
