because regardless of their uniform for the evening, they always have a white cowboy hat, like a hero from an old spaghetti western. And just like characters from westerns, they all have ridiculous sounding nicknames that they use in lieu of their names–like “The Kid” or “Steel Toe Joe” or “Whiplash Jake”, a tip of the hat, so to speak, to Diamond Devine’s country background.

She smiled apologetically as she took out the new plates, washed it and kept it on the table. She than served him the dinner respectfully as both started eating. "So have you decided his name?" Dr. Shepherd asked casually. Emma nodded as her face showed a huge smile.. "Junior Jacob, Jojo will be his pet name." "Junior Jacob?" Dr. Shepherd stared at her as his brows twitched in confusion. "You mean....." When he saw Emma's stern face he realised that who Emma is referring to as Jacob. "Did he know?" He asked. "No and it would be good if he never know about this..." Emma said sternly as she lowered her head to eat.

Jenny giggled, covering her mouth. My friends, who I'd worked hard together with in the past, also came together with Jenny, but they joined in the laughter too, teasing, "We’ve always heard Jenny say her brother likes beautiful women, and she wasn’t lying! He walked in and went straight for the prettiest one here!" As it turns out, my so-called old friends had already grown close enough to Jenny to joke around like this. Jeremy was incredibly strong, and I couldn’t break free. Seeing as no one was going to help me any time soon, I stomped on his foot hard, and he finally let go with a pained cry.

That was the beginning of the war. The saddest part of it all was that the Hatter and his people were one of the many special creatures of Wonderland. And like many other marvelous species and creatures, his kind were annihilated in the massacre. It was only the Hatter who had escaped with the Queen's chariot that survived. He earned his name Hatter because that was his profession; to make dazzling hats worn by the noblest and meekest folk.

They dated and married after Mom graduated. Mom continued to model until becoming pregnant with me, I'm Anthony or Tony. When I was a kid though the other kids started calling me Hat. This after someone realized my initials spelled H.A.T., Harold Athony Turley. Instead of fighting it I embraced it and had my parents start buying me different hats, mostly baseball caps. Some with weird sayings or pictures, some with just odd projections like horns and such.
