I fidgeted slightly, shifting my weight from one foot to another. “Um…that isn’t necessary,” I stated as I slowly continued to the counter. “Princess Jilliannah. What can I get for you?” The girl behind the register asked. I studied the menu for a moment. “Your blueberry bagels, are they good?” “They’re very good, Your Highness. They’re my favorite.” She responded. “Alright, then…” I looked at her name tag. “Brittney. I’ll take two blueberry bagels and an iced caramel latte.”

“Well, since you’re such a world-class scholar and a sweet sweet boy, I brought you a little something.” I pulled the bag of strawberries from my satchel. “Fresh from the farm. Extra sweet, just like you.” Noah's eyes went wide. “Strawberries! Thank you Sophie!” “You're welcome buddy.” “Can we make the cake, Uncle Andy? The one with the cream?” “Strawberry shortcake,” Andrew supplied, he looked at me, then back to the boy. “Go take those to Mrs Henley, Noah. Tell her it’s a priority mission. We'll have it for dessert.”

I smile rolling my eyes. Turning back I take out the pancakes, bacon, and fruit salad. "No freaking way" I scream Taking out a milk tart from the fridge I squeal "You have milk tart" I almost cry from joy "I mean yeah it reminds me of like what we have in America , banana pudding tart and peach cobbler tart ouuu see that's a desert , ah yes pumpkin pie" I just snarl looking at him , there is no reason for fruit to be inside a pie "Matt can I ask you a quick question" I plop a piece of tart into my mouth

“Anything on Were-Human, or Vampyre-Human relationships?” “She’d grown up as the Collateral’s baby companion. She wasn’t touching that shit with a ten-foot pole.” “Smart.” He stands, goes to the no-blood fridge. His broad shoulders shrink the kitchen as he gathers a few items that he carries back to the table. A jar of peanut butter that has my most nefarious interests perk up. Sliced bread. Some kind of berry jelly that just stumps me. Anna loved berries, and I tried memorizing their names, but they’re so counterintuitive. Blueberries? Not blue. Blackberries? Not black. Strawberries? Straw free. Raspberries? Do not rasp, or make any noise at all. I could go on.

It’s quite wonderful. Brittney giggles and shows me a silly snake she’s colored. It has its tail wrapped around a big ice cream cone to hold it up so it can lick at it. She’s colored it bright blue and the ice cream is colored light red. “Strawberry,” I say with a smile. “Your favorite.” She nods happily and says, “And yours is butter pecan, but if anyone ever comes up with butter pecan without the nuts in it, it will be your favorite of all time.”

I took a look at the contents in the basket,they were yummy. We took a nice spot,I spread the blanket and we sat down,there were fruits.... Strawberry!! A plate of fruit salad separate,peanut butter jar,brownies,slices of different flavours of cake,salads,cookies,muffins,hamburgers,hollandia yogurts,Snickers,McVities butter shortbread biscuits... My favs!!! Bottles of vitamilk and donuts. "Can we finish this?."I asked. "I don't know,we can give the leftovers to them and yeah, please,remind me to order pizza and sharwama on our way home."He told me.

Fred was right, my match wasn't until the next couple of weeks, and it still wouldn't generate the amount of money that we needed. That asshole! He gets me into this mess! I pressed start and watch as the spinach and strawberry mixed together, then added a banana and the last cup of yogurt that I got from the fridge. I drink it all and put all the dishes in the sink for later. I was already too late for work. I took my helmet, and put on my jacket, and pick up my leather backpack from the couch. I was out the door, five minutes later.

I wandered over to where a lady was behind an almost rectangular table with a hole in the inside. "Hey there, sweetie, what can I get for you?" Me? "What would you recommend? I've had a nightmare week and just want to forget all my problems." "I got ya. I'll make you the house special. It's called the Hazy Day. It's got rum, vodka and strawberry malt liquor."

I waited for him to throw it in my face and insult me, even but that didn’t happen. Instead, he scooped out a handful and I watched his icy expression transform into the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. “Hey, they have strawberry flavors too,” he excitedly blurted, scooping more from the pack. “There's pineapple and berries and chocolate…” I was too shocked to even blink. All I could do was the little kid in him unravel before my eyes. He looked at with twinkling eyes. “They have lollies too. Can I keep all of them?”

Eve found her warm and pleasant. “Young Mistress, do you want something to eat for a snack? I can make it for you,” Esther asked, having received a message from Alex that Eve hadn’t eaten much at lunch. “Actually, I’m craving strawberry cake. Can you buy one for me?” Eve said softly. Just thinking about it made her mouth water. “Of course, Young Mistress. Anything else?” “Nothing else. Just help me make a smoothie when you come back,” she replied with a smile.
